Went for Sunday carvery with family. The food was lovely and well presented, the staff were very friendly. We went to the bar area for coffee after which was pleasant, lovely open fire.

The grounds are gorgeous and the hall itself was very nice.

Would highly recommend it .

We had our wedding at Fanhams hall in late October. The whole day went brilliantly, the service was seamless, the staff were attentive and nothing was too big an ask for them. The venue is amazing, lots of comments that it reminded guests of downtown abbey (can't vouch for that as I don't watch it myself). Overall I can't recommend this place enough, the food was top notch as well, compliments to the chef. Overall a thoroughly memorable and enjoyable day.

We had a lovely afternoon tea here yesterday.. Great view over looking the grounds and the our waitress/host was outstanding. Please pass on our thanks as she really was brilliant �

We got married here on the 9th July 2016 and I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives! We had many trips to Fanhams Hall before hand to look at where to put decorations/to measure the balcony and for a final first dance rehearsal and nothing was ever too much for the staff. All the girls on reception were absolutely awesome!! They do such a fine job.

The whole day ran so smoothly-even when we were running late. The food was just perfect and the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. The gardens just looked fab and full of colour.

We highly recommend to everyone! We look forward to returning to Fanhams Hall in the future, it will always hold a special place in our hearts ❤️

We got married here in October 2016 - If you're unsure about an Autumn wedding,don't be! This venue is just as magical in the autumn months as it is in the summer; the gardens are full of beautiful autumnal colours and the great hall provides a stunning backdrop.

Our wedding day was overseen by Jonathan Who kept it running smoothly from start to finish.

Every member of the team worked to make our day incredible.

The chef designed a bespoke menu for us and the food was a big talking point amongst our guests - it went down a storm!

The evening food was just as superb.

This venue and the events team have an eye for detail and there extra touches added on the day which added that extra sparkle (arranging some of the flowers in the room where the evening food was served and presenting the cut cake beautifully with some of our flowers + candles moved during the evening to accentuate the flowers, decor and venue).

You will not be disappointed with this magical venue �

We got married here in July 17 and just wanted to leave a quick review to thank all of the staff at Fanhams, a particular mention to Jenson who on the day was amazing, he was always at hand to make sure everything was how we wanted it and happy to make changes where required. Lauren who took over looking after us quite late on in the planning stage was also amazing and always answered any questions promptly. The Great Hall and Long Gallery were stunning this coupled with the grounds, the food and the staff made our wedding (in our opinion) the best ever ! thank you xx

We got married at Fanhams Hall recently and had the most incredible wedding!!! From start to finish our wedding planner Ellie was just brilliant, nothing was too big or too small, she was everything we needed to help plan our wedding day!

Then on the day Jonathon our Operations manager for the wedding ran such a slick day, everything ran so smoothly and it was so relaxing that he gave us so much confidence that everything was under control.

All our guests commented on what a beautiful venue and wedding it was. They were well fed and all said they thought the food and service were fantastic!

We got married at Fanhams Hall last weekend (07.10.17) and all I can say is that it was absolutely perfect. From beginning to end the whole planning process was handled wonderfully by their team of coordinators; namely Ellie & Lauren, who were a delight to deal with - friendly, helpful and swift to respond to any queries that we had. Also a special mention for ops manager Jonathan, who was an absolute star and ran the day so smoothly and calmly it appeared effortless! Our guests were blown away by every aspect, from the decor and grounds to the professional and friendly staff. We are so proud to have gotten married there, and eternally grateful to Fanhams for everything they did to facilitate our requirements and help us achieve our perfect day. A huge Thank You from The Wards! x

Such a beautiful building with excellent/friendly staff. Room was adequate and spotless and breakfast was fantastic.

Myself and my husband recently got married here on the 24th June 2017. Apart from a few minor issues in regards to having wedding planner change, Ellie soon sorted these and continued to help plan our perfect day! On the day we can not thank our operations manager Nick enough, he was amazing and made sure everything ran perfectly to the timings we had arranged. The food was amazing and we had so many compliments about it. The grounds are what makes this place so beautiful, we got some amazing photographs that we can keep forever! Had afternoon tea in a lovely tea room. The food was a selection of sandwiches and cakes.

My favourite were the scones still warm from the oven. We would have liked to have walked through the gardens but the bad weather let us down. Would love to have this experience again

Fabulous hotel in an amazing setting. The rooms, food, staff and service were all second to none. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Although we booked a superior room I was expecting a bit more for my buck. The shower/toilet had a wet room type floor which didnt drain well so every trip to the loo was a wet foot experience. Apart from that food and drink were well priced and full english breakfast was smashing.

I like Fanhams very much.

We have stayed here twice now as an overnighter when in the area visiting family.

The rooms are very good value. The first time we were fortunate enough to be upgraded in the older part of the house.

Great room...Great view!

The breakfast is superb. Fabulous choice.

Take the opportunity to wander around the gardens.....

We will be returning on our next visit to the area.....oh, and lovely Afternoon Tea....and super function rooms!

Had a lovely day at my friend's wedding. The food was nice, it is a lovely place with beautiful gardens. Will have to go for afternoon tea at some point.

The people who designed the wedding packages were not very flexible as obviously the hotel doesn't follow a minimum spending regime but rather say you can only order a certain amount of food instead of alcohol . So guests didn't have enough to drink but plenty of food went to waste on our wedding day. There was nothing wrong with the food quality, venue or the staff on the ground however. Nick and Jody who were our event manager on the day were wonderful and were of great help.

I stayed in Fanhams hall couple times for 2nights. Breakfast always cold, bar stuffed never asked if I’m happy with my dinner, for evening meal I order braised beef with potato fondant and I received crushed potato. Manager talked to bar staff in very unprofessional way front to all customers, it wasn’t pleasant.

First time at Fanhams Hall and we booked a superior double which we certainly didn’t get, the room was ok but found a packet of the biscuits open that are with the tea and coffee in the box in the room, my husband didn’t notice and bit into it and had to spit it out, service in the restaurant was the best part of the whole stay although my pudding came out so late and wasn’t very nice so they took it off the bill! All in all I had high expectations for the hotel as it looked so nice online but was very disappointed 😔, sadly we wouldn’t return.
