Leema Acoustics Event - Saturday October 13th
Hi everyone, We are hosting Leema Acoustics on Saturday October 13th, this is a fantastic opportunity to hear a selection of Leema amplifiers in a back to back demonstration format. This is an event we are really looking forward to hosting, with plenty of people taking an interest already.
The event has been designed with a variety of budgets and systems in mind. So, if you are searching for some new amplification for your syste...m, pop on down and we're sure you'll benefit from attending.
How Will It Work? The event will focus around the Leema acoustics range of amplifiers.
As a reference point, we will start with the entry level Leema Elements Integrated, analysing the differences within the Tucana and Tucana Anniversary integrated amplifier series, before finishing with a demonstration of the reference Leema Pyxis Pre Amplifier and Hydra II Power Amplifier.
The demonstrations will be hosted by Mick Neil and Andy Moore of MIAN Audio, they will be on hand to answer any questions about the brand and to explain the differences between each amplifier. This is a great chance to hear and learn what design and component changes can bring to the sound of an amplifier.
All the amplifiers will use the same ancillary equipment - we will have on demo the Leema Sirius Streamer, and will be running a pair of Brigadier Mu.2 Speakers, all the equipment will be connected using Atlas Cables.

Project Turntable Experience At Fanthorpes HiFi Saturday 15th September

How Will It Work?
The event will focus on four keys areas of turntable design, the arm, cartridge, plinth and platter to explore how differences and improvements in these areas can change and improve the sonic characteristics.
As a reference point, we will start with a Debut Carbon, analysing the differences within the Xpression, Xperience and the Xtension turntable series, plus a selection of Ortofon Cartridges, before finishing with the demonstration Limited Edition Classic VPO turntable.
The demonstrations will be hosted by Kieran Pickaver of Henley Audio, he will be on hand to answer any questions and to explain the differences between each turntable. This is a great chance to hear and learn what design and component changes can bring to the sound of a turntable.

just bought an Musical fidelity M6si intergrated amplifier,and an MF M6 CD player + a pair of Monitor audio silver 10s from Fanthorpes and I am absolutely delighted with all the products.Many thanks to the young man who delivered them to my home and had to hump them inside the house,and a big big thankyou to Mark and Dale for their excellent service.Thanks Fanthorpes....

Well worth the 90 minute drive to Hull. Plenty good advice about the system I was looking at and what matches well with respect to interconnects & speakers for the styles of music I listen to. I left thinking I had got a fine deal to complete my hi-fi system which will lead me to revisiting hundreds of my CD's because there are new things to be discovered.



Given my previous system lasted almost 25 years (apart from 3 changes of CD player) and I am 59 I don't expect to visit Hull again unless I adopt an incredibly healthy lifestyle! I would happily recommend anyone to visit this fine shop though, sooner rather than later, if they are thinking hi-fi.

We went to buy a turntable yesterday and it was very enjoyable. We weren't buying high end, in fact we probably were buying one of the cheaper products they sell, but we were given as much time as we needed, and free coffee! The demo included a comprehensive walk through setting up the new turntable, and we came away happy with our new acquisition. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again, they're knowledgeable, patient and accommodating, plus they sell great gear!

Once again superb customer service from Fanthorpes, would especially like to thank Dale for sorting next day delivery on my new Avid Pellar phono stage works magnificently with my Diva II and 2M black.

I've used Fanthorpes for a few decades now, It was Frank Wilson a Deep sea diving buddy of mine who worked on a Saturday in the shop who drew my attention to Fanthorpes.

I've had hi-fi for 45 year's and been through some very high end equipment, Fanthorpes have sold me my latest main system - PMC Fact 12s, Nu-vista 800, chord Dave, Melco server "very happy at the moment" .

Mark, Dale, Dave and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful with everything I've bought from them.

They go the extra mile without all the bull and are pretty experienced with other makes they don't sell.

I came across Fanthorpes by chance when searching for Cyrus dealers.

Fanthorpes have a fantastic range of top end hifi kit and have now become my go to dealer, even though they are by no means local to me.

Friendly and very knowledgeable staff who go that extra mile to offer a top quality service. What is there not to like?

My first visit was to swap out a faulty cable and I ended buying some Kef Blades after being so impressed with them after a great demo!

Fanthorpes are staffed by people who rather like to be called geeks! Their in-depth knowledge of all things hi Fi and home cinema borders on fanatical. The store has a huge selection of kit, and they have a demo room so you can try before you buy. If they don't have what you are interested in, they can get it in for you to see/listen to. Staff are open to all the dumb questions those of us with less knowledge have the nasty habit of asking, but never make you feel stupid for asking them.



I have bought kit from them several times, and they are, and will always be the first place I go to for hi-fi.

Fantastic service and awesome PX. Recently traded in my PMC OB1i against Dali Epicon 2.
