Thank you to Fletchers Bakery for its generous donations of bread. This goes to our 49 partners who are running healthy holiday activities for children across Yorkshire 👏

Ten more people who lack professional experience and essential skills will benefit from mentoring in a gold standard warehouse while helping us to feed thousands of vulnerable people each week. Many thanks to this brilliant campaign being run by the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner and the Barnsley Chronicle

Our new Leeds warehouse is going live in a matter of weeks and we need more volunteer van drivers to take quality surplus food to brilliant frontline charities. Can you donate a day a week, 9am to 3pm to get this great food to great causes? If so please email our brilliant Warehouse Manager Steve at stevejarrett@fareshareyorkshire.org and you can drive along with another volunteer to get a feel for what we do! We really need your help to feed many more thousands of vulnerable people with wonderful food that should never go to waste.

On Monday we start an exciting 5 week building programme with Nexus Workspace to increase & improve our facilities so we can expand to support more community groups with more surplus food.
Please bear with us as deliveries continue as normal.

Our partners are playing such a vital role in helping thousands of children have a healthy holiday this summer. The libraries of Barnsley have been holding amazing craft sessions! #barnsleyhealthyholidays
