When I had the privelidge to look around Farrngton Lodge It looks the ideal place that my grandaughter and her partner has chosen to get to get married and the room where the weddings take place looked very friendly. If the weather is kind she may get married outdoors and have photos taken in the lovely grounds.

We were lucky enough to get married at Farington Lodge on 23/3/18 and the staff could not do enough for you. Everything was superb and Farington Lodge totally exceeded our expectation. The grounds, the food, the rooms and of course the staff are just tremendous. Jennifer was our wedding planner who was an absolute delight and Alison Schofield was our wedding manager on the day who totally took control to ensure everything on our special day ran smoothly. The whole day and evening was absolutely amazing and I would not hesitate at all in recommending Farington Lodge for your wedding venue - you will not be disappointed. We held our wedding here on 19.08.17 and couldn't be happier with how it went! The whole day from start to finish was amazing and that is down to the wonderful staff who helped it run smoothly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Myself, bridesmaids and my mum also stayed the night before and the food was delicious, as was all of the food on the wedding day. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food during the day and the evening buffet and how lovely the venue was.



The wedding team are great at what they do and are lovely people. We had lots of opportunities to meet with Jennifer and were in regular contact all the way through to the big day. We also enjoyed our menu tasting and the fact that we could give our guests a choice on their food which is something a lot of other venues don't do without a hefty charge! We would also like to thank Alison who ran things on the day so well and managed to get everything done without being intrusive.



I'm still being told by our guests how wonderful the day was, how lovely the venue, meal, buffet, rooms were. My grandma rings me to tell me how much she loved it and how nice was that venue? It was just fabulous. Thank you everyone at Farington especially the wedding team for a wonderful day love from the new Mr and Mrs McIntyre xx

We had our wedding reception here on Friday (4.8.17) and I couldn't have picked a better venue. From the day we booked our wedding right up until the morning after, everything was amazing. Jennifer and Alison are both wonderful at their jobs and our day wouldn't have been so perfect without them. The food is absolutely delicious and the rooms are all so beautiful. Was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid at my friends wedding, the bride & grooms wedding breakfast & evening reception was held here at Farrington Lodge. It was wonderful, the staff couldn't do enough for you, the food was divine & everyone had a fantastic time. Everything ran like clockwork. Me and my husband to be came on the 28/1/17 to taste the dishes we have selected for our wedding breakfast. I cannot express enough how amazing we were treated, we honestly felt so special. The staff were very helpful, kind and very professional. We even had a laugh with the manager because I put my own napkin on my lap and he was supposed to do it, that's how amazing the service is there, they literally do everything for you. Now onto the food, oh my gosh what can I say!!!! We loved every single mouthful!! Infact we asked if we could come back every night until the wedding day to eat the same thing over and over again!! The food was presented perfectly and tasted amazing. We can't wait for our wedding day, we know because we chose Farington lodge we are going to have the most perfect day. Thanks to all staff at Farington lodge for being so so lovely to us. See you in September!

Me and my best friend came yesterday for afternoon tea and we added a glass of champagne each (which was gorgeous) and was kindly upgraded so we got strawberries in chocolate which were amazing � And you do the best coronation chicken in the world!



Will definitely be coming back for more �

I went to my friends wedding here yesterday. The staff were lovely and friendly, the food was fabulous and it was an overall brilliant event such a wonderful occasion in beautiful surrounderings. I would definitely go back.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Farington Lodge after my wedding there on 30/07/2017. Jennifer was amazing from the start and Alison couldn't do enough for us on the day. Everyone loved the afternoon tea and it was an amazing vendor. My dad has even written a letter thanking Farington Lodge for making the day so special. High praise indeed. I have had a few afternoon teas at Farington Lodge this year, the first one being the Valentine competition I won in which I took my mum, my hubby 2 be and I had our afternoon tea food trial and I had my hen party afternoon tea there yesterday. In 4 weeks we will be having my wedding there and I cannot think of a better place and can't wait. The staff have been amazing throughout each visit and especially yesterday which catered for 26 women...there were plenty of refill on cakes and sandwiches, tea or coffee. It was no trouble to them to provide an individual portion for my friend gluten free and another had a plate of cheese butties (all she eats lol). Finally a massive shout out for Jennifer the wedding coordinator, she's so amazing, friendly and helpful x

I had my surprise baby shower at Farington Lodge yesterday and it was absolutely perfect. The team couldn't do more for our party of 25 and made the day a complete success. My mum passes her thanks to Karuna and the team for all their help in organising a seamless day. Thank you so much!

Farington Lodge was our wedding venue last week 11/11/17 and WOW what a fantastic day we had. Beautiful surroundings, superb staff, we really could not fault them. All expectations were exceeded ! Right from the initial booking through to the big day itself their attention to detail was second to non. AMAZING! If you're looking for a venue with a team you can trust, do it here!!! I got married yesterday and the whole team have just been so amazing from start to finish. I was a very thorough bride and they were with me every step of the way! Would 110% recommend

We wanted to do something special to celebrate our engagement so decided an evening getaway would be nice on Friday 31st March. The Hotel itself is a lovely building, the room and the staff were very nice. The only downside was for a 4star hotel I thought we would have been shown to our room on arrival as the layout of the hotel is not a normal layout luckily we found our room. The food was really tasty even if the rich peppercorn sauce did give me a stomachache but wouldn't change it as my eyes are bigger than my belly.

A little bit disappointed with the grounds not that it can be helped due to the surrounding area.

Overall really enjoyed our time at Farington Lodge.

Have been coming here for the past 3 years for our wedding anniversary. Very polite staff and great service. Delicious sandwiches. Would like to see the sugar cubes make a comeback, please! Would have liked to see some Yule log in the cake selection since we went at Christmas time. A pleasant evening overall.

Went for a wedding prices for ale was ridiculous and the room prices even worse reali don’t get how they can get away with it
