Farmers Arms Description
As of the 28th of June, the Farmers Arms is under new management. The pub will be run in very much the same way, with the same exemplery standards of food, drink and friendliness. A home from home with a touch of class and a great deal of welcomness.
A former coaching inn dating back in parts to the mid-1700s, The Farmers Arms is very pleasing to the eye, inside and out. The exterior is a large and impressive stonebuilt structure. The interior is equally gracious and extensive, with the attractive bar and lounge having exposed beams, and a bright, stylish conservatory dining area.
Meals are served at lunch and dinner in the bar, lounge, beer garden or conservatory dining area, which seats 36. Booking is advised for Friday and Saturday evenings.
The extensive menus include many mout watering creations and there is also a vegetarian, children's and menu.
At present there are four guest bedrooms, two doubles, a twin, and a family room, all en suite and with their own separate entrance. The tariff includes a delicious and hearty breakfast ideal to set guests up for a day's walking or sightseeing. CHECK IN BEFORE 3 P. M. OR AFTER 5 P. M.
