We love coming for a carvery, with a family of 5 eating out gets expensive but its very good value for the money we don't mind spending it. Meat is always cooked to perfection & the veg is always hot! We're a sweet tooth family & enjoy the cake selection. Kids are always kept entertained on the play area. The staff even washed my babies bowl and spoon on our last visit � thanks berrybrook.

We hadn’t been in for a while, so as we were celebrating my husband and my sons birthdays last month, we decided to try here again. What can I say the service was second to none, everyone one was very friendly and welcoming from the time we walked through the door, to the time we left. The food was fantastic, the children’s portion were of a very good size, the adults food was again of a very good portion size, we all thoroughly enjoyed it, our waitress Kerry was fantastic, she is a credit to your business, she was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, will definitely be returning

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit with the mascot for the kids. Service was good, food is what was expected, although some of the meat was really dry. May I add some of the people give low ratings for pretty much nothing?. Keep up the good work well done to you and your team working so hard.

Most amazing carvery & all the menu is very lovely . It's difficult to make a family happy. But this pub is just that, Thank you berrybrook farm .look forward to meals out together as a family xx the puddings are also amazeballs �

I have been for breakfast lunch and dinner at separate occasions and yes it does get busy but what do people expect for peak times of the day. I always have a carvery and it is the best carvery I have ever had and whenever I fancy a carvery now this is my go to place. The breakfast also was delicious and I love the fact they do a cakeaway service although takes me a day to devour one of their cakes because they are huge!



On the whole I cannot fault berry brook farm and I have recommended many people and they have all had good words to say and have been back many times too

Been lots of times with the lady's for lunch but today went to the kids fun morning they organised and I can honestly say it was fun and the kids really enjoyed it, can't wait for the next one deffo be going. Staff member kerry harvey was fab with the kids kept them entertained and joined in with the fun.

Only thing was there was ppl that hadn't paid the £3 ticket price who'd just gone for breakfast but ended up joining in which tbh wasn't a proplem but it wasn't fair on the ones that did pay so think next time be easier if it could be sectioned of if at all possible x

We rang to book a table for mothers day and was told you wasn't taking bookings and to just turn up which was fine we arrived and told we had to wait about 45 min and we could wait by the play area because we had my granddaughter with us there were a lot of tables reserved which we were told you wasn't taking bookings!!! The children's indoor play area wasn't suitable for 2/3 year olds and there were no seating area for us to sit. All our glasses were dirty with finger prints and lipstick on. But all those negatives we still had a lovely meal the staff was really FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL on such a busy day which we really appreciated after long wait. I will go again due to meal and staff being so lovely. Just hope things improve in areas we wasn't happy with. This was our first visit.

Went for the Half Term kids event on the Friday. Have to agree with previous post about overcrowding. We paid for privilege but to be honest anyone who was in the pub with kids were allowed to join in. Even though we were told at the time of booking that there were limited spaces.Should have been sectioned off for those who had paid. Paid for tea and coffee /toast unlimited refill and there was no need to pay for it. It was on a table for anyone who had a cup to enjoy. One lady even bought her own cup and sandwiches and didn't pay for her grandkids to join the event. Needs a rethink next time. Staff were great throughout tho who seemed to put up with it all very well. Stayed for lunch. Probably won't be our first choice again. Chips were soggy and some were hard in the middle as if they had been warm up in the oven. Not very tasty. Beer garden looks like it will be great in the summer.

Ate here for Valentines Night, ordered 2 sirloin steaks, one medium one well done. The medium steak was just gristle very disappointing and my partners well done steak was dry and overcooked. Not at all what we usually expect when ordering steak.

On the plus side the staff, were all attentive and exceptional. Checking on us throughout and giving advice on the deserts.

A older lovely lady who kept popping over to see we were okay..I can't fault the staff FIVE STARS ..just a pity the steaks were not very good.

Arrived for a birthday meal which my husband booked he spoke to them twice extremely large table booking. No reservation as I say spoken to them twice. We choose here because was lots of children and thought it would be fab for them to be able to play. Very bad first impression. Staff did sort is a table after an half hour wait considering we had been travelling it was last thing we wanted. Food itself was lovely when it eventually arrived none of meals came out together we all ordered separately but for explain mind and my husband came but it was a good 20 minutes before my sons. Fantastic that the food was warm but staff were passing burning hot plates to us some that were to be given to young children. The staff did do what they could I certainly won’t recommend or be returning in a hurry

Service poor this time, we have been many times and even brought visitors from out the area to try, this occasion it has put me off completely. When we got a table we ordered our food and sat food did not take that long to come out, which was good as it was packed. However first thing I noticed the mixed grill had black pudding in even after we asked for none then I noticed it was missing pork chop and it was missing pepper sauce, I question the chop for a member of staff who went away and come back saying there was no chops left ???? Mixed grill with no chop, she explained I could have pork from cavery or I could have another gammon steak, when my wife returned we I had almost completed my meal and she asked where the chicken wings where, I asked to be told sorry and would be brought out she returned and said the person at till had not taken for them, however the bill cost when we worked it out included wings. I understand it’s not the staffs fault as they are extremely busy. However find it shocking that staff in kitchen would think its okay to plate up meals with missing food and complete miss part of the order. As a family we have agreed not to return to berrybrook farm

Rubbish meat cooked so so tuff it asked me for a fight 3 times - mash has a tang to it - sunday and only beef or gammon - now i like beef but at least cook it slow - i would never have had it but no turkey. Wasn't told this at the till - avoid 2nd time and as bad as the pear tree

Really dissapointed today with breakfast! Been a few times and everthing is always slow but today was just awful! Waited 20 min to be served as only 1 staff serving even tho there was a que of at least 7 people! Then get to food line with again 6 people waiting (we were a group of 5!) So that's 11 people waiting for bacon, egg, scrambled egg, hash browns and tomato! Even when a few bits got brought out there was still not enough for everyone waiting. So me and my 3 children waited another 15 min for 5 fried eggs to be brought out!!! Now by its time there is another 4 people in the food que! There was a 10 min wait for coffee and then another wait for bread for the toaster which came out frozen!! By this time we had been in there for approx 40 min and hadn't eaten! Won't be coming again.

What an disgusting dinner we had today. Everyone left. The beef was off smelt as though it was out of date. Gosh knows how they still cooked it and not realised. I think the chefs need retraining!! Then the replacement meal was Mexican chicken melt over cooked and rock hard. Manager came over did refund one of the meals and took the beef off the menu. However too little to late. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all unless you want food poisoning with out of date food.

Tuesday 15th may we ordered a kiddies meal when it was brought out,the waitress was holding it with a tea towel knowing it was hot,she then decided to put it in between two 11 month old kids.my granddaughter then went to grab the plate but her mom saw what she was gonna do and grabbed the plate and in the process of doing it burned her fingers.We asked to speak to the manager who then said she probably didnt know it was hot but she was holding it with a cloth.She then said she would have a word with the waitress and that was it.why did you serve a kiddies meal on a hot plate in the first place

Ordered food asked for extra pigs in blankets and Yorkshire pudding, Went to get our carvery for the man to say he only got what his got. So why accept money if you only got limited food. The food on the other hand was discussing �. only food manage to eat was the stuffing and a Yorkshire pud. will not be coming here again.

I went to the bar to order a drink and got told I had to wait in the long queue with all the customers ordering food. I had no problem with this but I did have a problem with the manager of the pub serving all the people that were just walking up to the bar and ordering their drinks. I asked the manager about this and was told “I can’t see who’s next from where I’m standing” there are two easy solutions for this. 1) move somewhere where you can see who’s next or 2) have a separate serving area for drinks only. I got annoyed in the end and walked away without drinks. My wife however went in, straight to the front and got served without question.

Came sunday 24th june.found the girl at the bar so rude.was overly friendly to the young man in front of me while fluttering her eyelashes at him yet could barley manage a hello to me.ordered 2 cokes.she washes the glasses by hand the left a load of water at the bottom and filled them with coke from a bottle.Also had 2 fruitshoots which were the size of the ones you get 4 for £1 at the shop. Then on to the food.could not cut into the yorkshire puddings and the roast potatoes were burnt and hard.would not recommend this dive to anyone and will not ever return.

After normally having nice meals and lovely service, today we requested a pot of fruit instead of the free ice cream with the kids meal and was told no it’s ice cream or nothing! Not very good a catering for a child with multiple allergies who can’t consume milk, if this is the case I think you may need to invest in vegan ice cream so allergy kids don’t feel left out and different! Won’t be returning again and neither will Family
