Would give 6 stars if I could. Stayed at Travelodge and had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. Food was gorgeous, very well priced and large portions. Had a 20% discount because of Travelodge, made the meals even better value. Staff very friendly and attentive, everywhere onsite is spotless, well maintained and comfortable. My two friends and I would happily recommend eating and drinking here.

Went today for Sunday carvery with my friend, son and his partner, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal, hot, perfectly cooked, and plenty of it (my one dislike? I love cauliflower without cheese but, they only had it with cheese, could you possibly put both on please?) We left room for our desserts, which were enormous, but delicious and even took some home in a take away bag! Mmmmm Joanne was the lady helping in our area, she was lovely, attentive and very efficient! The whole place was clean and welcoming, thank you to all the staff for a lovely meal!! Will definately be going again!! 10/10

Visited today for a Sunday carvery. First thing we noticed was the full car park. Once inside it was absolutely packed. We have been here before during the week and have always enjoyed our meal. The food is great and the staff are very polite and helpful. We were told there would be a wait of around twenty five minutes to be seated, so we ordered some drinks. We were then shown to our table in about twenty minutes by one of the staff. The food here is first class compared with most others we have been to. The number of people inside is a testament to this! The meat is cooked to perfection. The veg was delicious and not overcooked (like others we have visited) and the roasties were to die for. The Chef / Head cook was constantly overseeing how the food was being cooked and presented which was nice to see. Another nice touch was the place cards left by the staff once they had asked if everything was okay. This prevents other staff from constantly interrupting your meal to check if things are okay, which gets rather annoying in several places we've been to. There was a queue for the carvery counter but this took no time at all as there were several staff to carve etc. To be fair we arrived at probably the busiest time 2pm.

To sum up, The food is outstanding (especially the dessert selection), the staff are friendly and helpful. It's also great value for the price.

I will be returning and would definitely recommend to others.

This was my first visit to lymewood Farm. The food was amazing, friendly cheerful staff and a warm homely atmosphere I will be back. The cakes are sooooo naughty but extremely nice. I would recommend this eatery any time

User

Love it here food always hot and tasty service is brilliant yea sometimes you have to wait but once you have the carvery it's definitely worth the wait

User

Just had cooked breakfast £3.99 including bottomless coffee/tea and as much toast as you want. Great value and one of the best we have been too 👍

User

I went with two friends which was our 2nd visit. We have always been very satisfied with the staff and our meals. We do plan to go again. The place is always clean and tidy

Food was excellent, staff were very nice and helpful. Quiz was very good apart from people on phones not getting checked. One thing could be changed on quiz don't need 2 sets of music questions, they were the same name the artists. Could be TV or something else. The games were good. All in all a good night.

First time visit but definately not the last , the food was excellent there was a party of ten of us all having different meals , everyone enjoyed it immensely. The staff where very friendly. We have definately been missing a treat it’s like most things that are local , you tend to bypass to go further afield , but no more , this is certainly the place for us . Many thanks Lymewood

User

Always a good service. Friendly staff , nice food. and amazing deserts. However I must point out there macaroni cheese is not the best

User

We eat here fairly regularly and always been happy, met with happy staff and if we make any changes or alterations to the food its always been done, had the chicken wings, beef chilli and a carvery, tasty and we enjoyed it. The guy who sorts the table on arrival had a new gadget this time you are given a buzzer so instead of him walking around shouting to find people when your table is ready this gadget flashes and buzzes, great idea. Chelsea on the till smiling and helpful. If I would change one thing it would be better if you only ordered food from at the food tills, then go get your drinks separately as it's awkward for everyone when the staff have to go to get a round of drinks in while the food queue gets bigger,.

Went for a late lunch with my husband and my son and his family. We sat in the family area that wasn’t at all busy to my amazement due to school holiday term and it was Thursday.

Food was nice and came out hot

The staff are Friendly and service was good.

My grandson enjoyed playing in kid area but was a little startled with other children’s behaviour

Only criticism is that there was a family with kids which were aloud to run around tables and climb all over the child’s area and air hockey table. Staff seen this several times and didnt challenge it. Should have at least spoke to parents.

Would of been 4*

Everything great, the only problem is that the salad bar at the end of the Carvery bar isn't there anymore.I questioned this month's ago,and the girl said that they are waiting on a part.

Visited again the other day,and they still haven't got it sorted. So no salad to put with your Carvery, which to be honest, relegates it to a lacklustre Carvery.Disappointing that a big pub company can't get this problem sorted.Other people in there have agreed with us.

I would've given 5 stars had the problem been solved!

Came on the 19/12/17 ordered food (a breakfast) at 12:50 had to ask where it was at 1:20 as was back in work for 1:30 then had to rush to eat it also had tomatoes mushrooms and black pudding took off our meals as we don't like them and was still charged £8 each.. these items should have been knocked off our bill as i'm sure if we was to add items on extra we would be charged so why not reduce the bill for items taken off... would have got a smaller brekki if the option was available which there was a menu on the table for midweek breakfast only to be told that stops at 11 so why still have the menus on the table ?

User

Called for s coffee in between appointments mid morning. After 30 went to ask if it was on its way to be told the lady had forgot to do it, to be fair she came to apologise but glad I had not ordered food as wouldn’t have received the pancakes I thought about getting in time even though I had 1hr to play with

User

I’ll give it a one because it won’t let me go any lower!

Went today for lunch, in the past I have been impressed with the standard of food. Today was basic at best, the cake was burnt (I mean cremated if I’m honest) in a microwave. Ordered two cups of tea that still hadn’t materialised after 40 minutes. We had to ask twice to remind them , eventually we asked for them to be given to us in “take away cups” only to realise the lids didn’t fit - and I didn’t fancy burning myself on the journey home. I asked the young man serving how It’s possible to have to wait 40 minutes for a cup of tea and was met with “it’s not my fault” etc etc. This place is not staffed sufficiently. They have enough staff to take your money however seem lacking when delivering your food / drinks.

User

I went for breakfast this morning and I was very disappointed there no eggs we was then told to wait as they coming out I waited a further 10 and still no eggs so I sat back down . I then went for toast there no fresh bread or butter which then we had to ask a member of staff then there no hot water or spoons for coffee!! I was disappointed in this service
