About Farnborough Symphony Orchestra

The FSO is a friendly and hard-working non-professional orchestra based in Farnborough since 1922. We give at least 4 concerts a year in the Hampshire and Surrey borders region, and regularly attract national and international soloists.

Farnborough Symphony Orchestra Description

The Farnborough Symphony Orchestra is one of the foremost non-professional orchestras in the south of England. It has had a commitment to live performance of music in the North East Hampshire region since its formation in 1922 as the Royal Aircraft Establishment Orchestral Society. It now performs four concerts every season, regularly attracting high-quality national and international soloists, and is the holder of the 2011 Pat Devereux award for contributions to the Performing Arts in the Borough of Rushmoor.
