The two entrance doors to the Noman Chapel at Farnham Castle are inset with carved faces, four encircled by sunrays. There is a story that while in exile with the court of Charles II, Bishop Morley met Louis XIV of France. The ŌĆśSun KingŌĆÖ, impressed by Morley, made a gift of the carvings to him upon his return to England.

Stunning venue. Got married at Farnham Castle in January 2017, and had a wonderful day, food, staff and ambiance...first class. Was also lucky enough to go for the valentine dinner last night, again, delicious food. I love this venue!!!
One of Farnham's many treasures. Beautiful location to pop in, wander around and soak up the historic permanence of the place. Love it!
On behalf of myself, my new husband & my parents - we just want to say a massive thank you! We got married at Farnham Castle on Friday 23rd Feb 2018 and the day was beyond perfect from start to finish and exceeded all expectations. I always dreamt of getting married at Farnham Castle ever since i was a little girl - the place is incredible and will forever hold a special place in our hearts!
The staff were amazing, this includes reception staff, bar staff, chefs, waiting staff and wedding planners. A special thanks to Giulia & Ali who were our wedding coordinators. A massive thanks to Giulia for putting up with my 1000 daily emails of random panic or different things i was thinking of - everything i put on my function sheet that i wanted she made sure i had! The food was incredible and many guests commented on this - they also catered for allergies and vegans etc with no problems at all. Its a shame that my adrenaline was running so fast that i could not finish it all!
I could go on some more..... but THANK YOU Farnham Castle so much for the best day of my life. The rating "excellent" doesn't even come close...

My partner and I were lucky to be invited to a wedding here and were blown away. Wonderful venue and ideal for weddings. Beautufully decorated. Food amazing. Very romantic
My husband James and I got married at Farnham Castle on 28th March 2018 and it was a truly stunning day. The team worked so hard to give us a perfect day and we can't thank them enough! The food was outstanding and the staff were so attentive. We would definitely recommend this wonderful venue!
First time there and it was so much better than I expected. Lovely building and very nice staff. The food was quite honestly absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Lovely views over Farnham too.
Fantastic day out my boys and I really enjoyed it.

Absolutely stunning venue, amazing staff and excellent events.
It was dark because we went to see the fireworks (which were brilliant) but from what I did see the grounds and castle look lovely and well worth a visit back in the daylight sith our dog for a nice walk
