What a great place! Absolutely loved the bar and friendly staff. Went for the comedy night and had a really nice time. Can only recommend.

User

What a beautiful, stylish, funky bar! It has such a wonderfully warm atmosphere with friendly helpful staff and drinks a very good price. Loved the comedy night and I can honestly say I had one of the best nights I've had in a long time!

User

This place has a special charm. Vintage, deliberately low key interior, cosy interior, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, simple yet delicious food, well chosen house wine and superb comedy host Alex in the comedy club downstairs.

User

This is a great bar in the vibrant Dalston area. It also serves as the venue for a wonderful comedy night known as - We Are Funny Project - which is run by professional and committed people. If you're thinking of watching or even performing comedy in London, the "We Are Funny Project" at Farr's is a fantastic place to start!

User

Such a great venue for comedy - AND IT'S FREE! I've been to a lot of open mic comedy nights in cramped venues with crap PA systems or in venues that are too big to get a decent atmosphere. Farr's have it just right and the We Are Funny comedy night there is always great! On top of that they have an excellent choice of beers - Lagunitas on tap + some local brews. Keep up the good work!

User

So what did I do yesterday? Well I basically got a brain dump about how to host an open mic night from Alfie. It was fun, informative (I mean really feckin informative, I have pages of notes and tips that will improve my stand-up, presenting at work and most importantly how to leave a mic stand) and so enlightening. I heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to MC any night be it comedy or corporate.

User

Played here for the first time last week and, whilst the audience was small, the atmosphere was great! I look forward to doing more stand up gigs at this venue as it undoubtedly becomes a more & more popular place to come & see great comedy - it's as if the room is meant for it!

User

Lovely bar with friendly staff and a wonderfully chilled out atmosphere. Also home to some great stand up comedy nights (run by the WAF project) on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

User

I would not have known about this bar were it not for the WAF comedy nights. Very delightful place. The customer service was brilliant - had great banter with the barman. The decor all around is quirky and pleasing to look at. All in all - a really cool bar with a great atmosphere.

User

Great venue for some sociable drinks with friends. Good range of beers and even a comedy night on down stairs! It cost us nothing and provided us with some excellent unexpected entertainment, will be looking out for the next one!

User

Great venue and fantastic to hear We Are Funny Project are now holding it's shows here! One of the loveliest comedy nights I've been to - with a great atmosphere and a fantastic mix of talented up-and-coming and headline acts! All for free! Can't wait to go again!

User

Great food, great drinks and the most beautiful waiter (the one taking food orders) in the world

User

Great atmosphere, really friendly staff and cheap drinks. Went there for the first time the other night and had a brilliant time. Would particularly recommend the comedy night downstairs.

User

Great atmosphere and a really cool venue. Before the comedy shows were added I'd go with friends for drinks and had fun; with the addition of comedy shows twice a week we go there more often now. Can't complain about the location. Am an Overgrounder.

User

Excellent venue, really nice atmosphere, very welcoming. Location is incredibly convenient as well just over the road from Dalston Junction Station. Heard about the venue via the WAFP comedy night. This night is free, very welcoming and has a strong variety of comedic styles. Thoroughly enjoyable experience all round

User

Can a chicken burger ever be tastier than a beef burger? Too f**king right it can! Yum yum nom nom will be back here soon for more. I also tried the beef burger (half n half innit) and it’s as good as it gets. Yes please! Decent tunes to boot.

User

We went to see the Pint of Science session in the basement. Good beer upstairs and typically Dalston alternative. Heard about discovering evidence of the Higg's boson and what new satellite's were being launched to sit at the L2 Legrangian points to search for, among other things, planets orbiting nearby stars. Brilliant evening.

User

Have heard nothing but good vibes about this place, especially from all at WEAREFUNNY who do the comedy there. Really looking forward to doing a spot there to see if all the fantastic reviews are true. See you in a couple of weeks!

User

It's a great idea .I am Normally open minded. People dancincing in your face as you walk in the front door is very off putting. The layout is all wrong. Put the dancers behind the bar and let drinkers and diners have the front. And it's unreasonably loud for a pub. And I love it loud. That said. People were having fun. So go if you don't mind thee above. :)
