Everyone at Farsley Flyers would love to extend their gratitude for the donation all these amazing local business establishments made to our club’s 4th Birthday Party. As a purely voluntary and free club, their generosity really does go a long way and is recognised by all 550 members.
The 4th birthday party was a tremendous success, thanks to all the local support. The Cardinals were banging out the room until late and we also took the opportunity to recognise the achiev...ements of individuals over the last year.

Well we did our community run last night spreading festive cheer! It went down well... we certainly had fun anyway! Merry Christmas everyone from Farsley Flyers üíô

This Thursday 20th December is our annual Farsley Festive Community Run! Your local running club the Farsley Flyers will be running 2 routes from 6.30pm - 7.30pm onwards to cover as much of the local streets as we can spreading festive cheer and sweets for the young ones. Times are approximate but hopefully you will catch us run by. If you can make it out then we will meet and greet and share some treats. Alternatively look out for us from your windows and see if you can spot Santa. 2 photos attached with maps show the roads we will cover. Ho! ho! Ho! From all at Farsley Flyers! üíô

Temple Newsam ‘Solidarity ‘ parkrun Saturday 8th December
As some of you may already be aware a Run Leader was assaulted a few weeks ago in East Leeds whilst leading a group of runners. By way of supporting anybody that has been impacted by this there is going to be a 'solidarity run’ to support anybody who also has felt intimidated, scared or unsafe whilst out on a run.
... From a practical point of view it is not safe to do this on the streets so everyone are invited to come to Temple Newsam parkrun on Saturday 8 December 2018, the usual parkrun will be organised (standard parkrun rules apply) and the West Yorkshire Police Force will be supporting the event.
The organisers of this idea have asked for your continued patience regarding what happened as this matter is still ongoing, but rest assured the Police are dealing with it.
