Would like to thank the team for there honesty we attended Saturday night with family (my brother being over from Australia �) and we lost my wife's phone we only attended 3 venues on the night and my wife was gutted as for the photos she was going to loose of her grandparents. To get the call this evening that it had been found has made one lady very very happy thank you. We also had a great evening

We came for the first time today (29.09.17) for lunch to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Abby, the lady who served us throughout our visit absolutely amazing and a true asset to the company. She made us feel at ease straight away and we even got a free dessert to celebrate and it was gorgeous!! It was a lovely touch and staff didnt need to but went out of their way to make it soecial for us. The food was fantastic aswell. Will definitely be coming back again!!!

Had a lovely meal with the family catching up with my brother who has just recently moved into the area. Lovely pub and atmosphere, food was great too.

Had a lovely early evening meal. Great Service. Definitely coming back!

We went with a Groupon deal. Very nice main meal with a bottle of wine. I had the mushroom risotto which was excellent. The wine was surprisingly good too. Staff were friendly & very attentive. It was very early evening so not much atmosphere but would definitely eat there again.

First ordered two drinks and a starter to share with my daughter. The place was empty,i think there were two other tables occupied!

The starter came with a wooden box of sauces. My daughter picked the vinegar up to get her hand covered in sauce,only to realise that the bottom of the wooden box was covered in sauce and dirt!!

We were also given no napkins or cutlery!

The starter we then realised hadnt been cooked properly, i returned it for a new one to be slammed on the table infront of us!

My daughter then askef the waitress is she could exchange the box of sauces,telling her how dirty it was. She then returned with a second box with kne sauce missing,no salt and pepper and still no napkins and cutlery!!

The starter was the same...still not cooked well!!!

Went for drinks with a friend, 2 members of staff at the bar with no customers. I went to the bar stood there for 5mins before both staff members walked away having not been served!! Waited for a bit longer before going to the kitchen window asking if anybody is serving at the bar, eventually a member of floor staff came to the bar and was extremely rude when I asked her if she was serving, she proceeded with another order. Having now waited 15mins (still no other customers at the bar) another member of staff came and served me. Almost considered walking out!!

Was really disappointed yesterday food was not as good as previous visits used to rave about this place no more, both of us were very disappointed n left early to go elsewhere, won’t be in a hurry to go back

Met up with group of my husband's colleagues for couple of drinks as they have half price drinks. Got a table outside but seats covered with bird droppings, could have been wiped down! Went to toilet OMG disgusting, toilet paper all over the floor etc. Finished drinks & went away. Have been in places much busier than this (& have worked in bar) & would not expect to see this

Love coming here but last nights service was awful, my friends food had to be taken back 3 times before it was correct at which point was not even bothered about eating, I get that it’s half price food and drink but we have been here so many times and always spend a lot when we come anyway, just feel like the staff/chefs don’t care about doing their normal job when it is half price and that they are almost doing us a favour by serving us when it is cheaper, sad to say.

Food was good but still have loads to improve in customer service. We sat down for 5 minutes and was only asked reluctantly if we would want a menu. When we were ready to order and asked for someone, the woman in the bar just looked and gave no response, signalling her other co-worker to come instead. Not my first visit, but one of my worst visits. Not sure if it's because they didn't like serving students because we get half price, not giving full price hence the bad service. Maybe consider changing your website's statement of "Fat Cat love students" to something else? Because we definitely didn't feel liked, what say loved?

Food is always brilliant but service is absolutely appalling. The staff look like they just cannot be bothered. Went in for food yesterday as a group of 3. We were the only table having food and there was one table having drinks. The service was extremely poor. I asked for a coke but was given a diet coke (thought it tasted weird but didn't realise until we saw the bill) From entering the building we had to ask for everything to be done for us after waiting for 10 minutes or more including asking for our order to be taken, our table to be cleared, for our dessert orders to be taken and for the bill. We had no check back on our food which was also quite poor. I had the chicken burger and there was hardly any chicken in the bread crumbs, was over cooked and the bread tasted stale. My friends enjoyed their meals but they also needed improvements. We saw our desserts were ready on the food pass for 5 minutes before they were brought to us. We also had to go to the bar to pay for the bill because after waiting for so long at each stage we were left in a rush to get going. I did not expect this when we were the only table in there and it was clear that the staff were just stood by the bar talking. I have been in previously and also had negative experiences with the food and service. Very poor.

The DJ is Rude. And one of the door man is aggressive. Put his hands on me. Which I am not happy about. Chucked my drink which I paid £9 for. Rude. The DJ is Power tripping and that one particular door man too, one was OK, . The others unprofessional. Never will I go in there again. Never experienced anything like it in my life.

Ordered a steak and chips ... asked for Just chips ended up with salad and everything I’d asked not to have on my plate which wasn’t an issue but the steak was absolutely awful. The worst I’ve ever had, so fatty and inedible. The pepper sauce tasted like hot water... all in all an awful meal. To top off my already terrible experience I ended up buying two gins the first one being a double costing £13 something!!! So I thought oh I’ll have a single next still costing £8 something absolutely ridiculous. Will not be returning to waste my money again.

Oh and it might be worth fixing the leak on the way to the ladies loos... or at least putting a sign to warn people of the puddle of water ...

I was very disappointed. We went Sunday and we took 2 breakfasts. The bacon wasn't cooked. The omelette was horrible, the tomato was very big. The tables outside were dirty. I called the waitress to clean my table, and she started to spray everywhere: on my face,on my hands. After, i asked her to bring me some toast, took her almost 15 min to bring the toast .

I came here with my friends on a Saturday lunch time and was it was appalling. I ordered cheesy garlic bread and loaded potato skins (cheese and bacon), but I actually got, roughly 4 chips on a plate with cheese and bacon on. When I went to the bar to ask why I hadn't got what I ordered the woman said because it'd been so busy they didn't have any left. Why didn't they tell me that when I placed my order? All my other friends who ordered the same got wedges with the same topping, so I would have preferred that rather than chips. I asked if I could have wedges if I couldn't have what I originally asked for, and the woman made it seem like I was in the wrong for asking for them to change my order. Moral of the story- if you haven't got something, tell the customer before they order it. Will not be returning.

Food is awful. Just had a pizza which was meant to have a fresh base. It was totally black on the bottom, the base was dry and tasted almost stale. And the top of the pizza was dripping with oil, which the woman who served me dropped all over my purse. Literally had to drain the oil off the top of my pizza to eat it. Weren’t asked if everything was ok with the meal. So I ate most of it, just because I was hungry and spent £11 on it. Never again. On top of that, the service was terrible too.
