We went along to Favela last Friday. I was absolutely overwhelmed with the high quality of customer service given by our lovely waitress who I believe was called Molly. She excelled within her duties and was extremely polite and very thorough with the menu and drinks. Attentive, sweet and made our experience a night to remember.

The food was delicious and not to mention Carmen another waitress who went out of her way to also make us feel welcomed. With 50% off throughout January, we will most definitely be going back.

This place is so good! Came for the unlimited chicken wings which were amazing! We ate close to 100 chicken wings between the four of us, and tried several different flavours, all of them tasty. The BBQ sauce is especially delicious. Also the fries were spot on and I was well impressed you got a fresh lot with every plate of wings. The drink offers before 7pm were really good. Two cocktails for a tenner cannot be argued with and the mojitos were tangy and refreshing. The atmosphere and decor of the venue is really cool. A nice ambient vibe, although it was pretty quiet when we came it looked like somewhere that be pretty lively, and it has a decent capacity. Even though the food was fantastic I would happily come here just for a few drinks. I'd also like to point out that the service here was brilliant. Really helpful and always there when needed, without being overbearing or in your face. Absolute legends. Thanks for a great evening!

Food was delicious. Only us in and we had booked a table. Lovely place. Shame no one in . It was Friday at 2.00pm. Think it's a bit out of the way from the main drag. Young man who served us was helpful n pleasant. Wine was good. Would go again.

Came for a meal last night with work colleagues - OMG the food is to die for. I would genuinely come back down from Scotland for the food alone. Restaurant itself is lovely, such a great atmosphere and the servers were so nice and attentive. Didn't wait long for the food either, and the cocktails were spot on 👌🏻 Thanks ladies!!

We went here on Wednesday booked a table for 530. When we ordered the food we were told it was 1/2 hour wait which was ok as we had to be at the theatre for 710pm. The starters came after 45 minutes and they were good but then we were told we had to wait another half an hour for the main courses. We had to cancel the rest of the food.order as we couldn’t wait another 1/2 hour. If they had told us in the beginning it was half an hour wait between both courses we would have just ordered main courses or gone somewhere else. When we paid the bill we weren’t even offered any discount on drinks ‘to make it right’ and we were told the delay was because of a large party ordering food, when counted the large party was only 10 people!!!

We told them we were going to the theatre and we arrived at 5 40 and it was 6 20 before we got the starter and then they said it would be another half hour before main course so we had to cancel it about 20 people in

Absolutely amazing! Loved the place, the bug menu, the staff!!! We are definitely coming back



2 year later, this place replaced the full staff with rude people who doesn't know how to deal with old customers. Clearly a money grabber company who shown doesn't care about customer service



It's a shame this was a good place, good food but now after 1 year coming regularly, I won't come back neither my friends

My partner, his parents and I went to Favelas a little while ago and it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever encountered.



It all started off OK as we were quickly seated and shown to a table but things went rapidly downhill from there. The table service was poor to non-existent, the glasses we were given for our wine were dirty and my food (Feijoada) was bland - the food is excusable as taste is an opinion, poor service and abject cleanliness is not.



After complaining on the evening, the guy in charge was apologetic but couldn’t do much for us.



Since then we have emailed Favelas (and Manchester Confidential as we got vouchers from them for our visit) and despite an initial response have not heard anything further - a demonstration that they don’t particularly care about their clientele.



I’d give this place a miss until they brush up on their customer service. One positive point, the music was quite good!
