I'm am so proud to announce I passed my final ICMG Masters Exams today. I am now an International Certified Master Groomer!!! My official title is now Fay Greene ICMG.­¤śŗ Thank you to all my customers for all your support along this journey of a mixture of 14 practical and written exams! Yuki went for her first pamper and groom session with Faye today, as she is a very nervous dog I stayed with her and watched Faye work her magic. Yuki soon relaxed and allowed Faye to groom, bath, dry and even clip her nails . She looks and smells wonderful , Faye clearly loves dogs and it shows in her excellent work, we will certainly be back again and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Today was the first time we took our dog to Fay and we are so happy with everything. After a bad experience somewhere else we were obviously worried about who to trust with our fur baby and Fay really put us and pixie at ease. Really reasonable prices with a reassuring and friendly face. Thanks again Fay, see you in a few weeks for pixie's next appointment! Emily x

Today I took the plunge and got Maisie a proper pamper to day as we arrived fay didn't think she would be able to get any where near Maisie due to her being so nervous but after just sitting in a room with Maisie for 45 minutes she finally let fay Stoke her and an hour later Maisie was letting fay cut her hair which is a massive achievement for my dog as she has never let anyone near her willingly near her but me since having her. Fay was amazing and very calm and professional and gave me some advise one her skin I will Defiantly bringing Maisie back again and would recommend fay with anyone who has doubts about there dogs or not feel so proud of the whole thing !!!!Thank you so much fay !!

The most genuine, kind hearted person i know! ’┐Į She is extremely kind and gentle with all animals! Made my pup feel at ease! She always thinks of the animal and puts them first! My older girl LOVES fay (not so much the grooming ’┐Į’┐Į) Highly recommend! Xx

Second time Negan has been to see fay he is 7 months and still a little nervy but fay is so good with him and he has come out smelling amazing and is so soft

Poppy had her second cut with fay today, she loves going there. Fay really does listen to what you like and want. Gives great advice too. Always smiling and happy. Great local business.

I messaged Fay explaining that our beloved german shepherd, Loulou, is poorly and that it might be difficult to groom parts of her due to soreness. I told Fay that we are planning a family photo shoot, dog included, as we are unsure how much longer our loulou will be with us and wanted to capture our family pet in a photo for us to keep and remember her by. We thought it would be nice if loulou could look (& smell!) her best for the occasion! Fay was eager to help and arranged a date for loulou to be groomed as close to our photo shoot day as possible. Today was grooming day, The salon is smart and well equipped. Fay listened to my concerns about grooming loulou and even let me be a part of the experience, dressed in a paw print splash proof jacket, given to me by Fay, I assisted Fay with her grooming process of loulou, she was friendly, funny and professional throughout, very reassuring to me and loulou Fay is a very kind and compassionate lady who clearly adores her work and the animals whilst they are in her care. Would highly recommend to all. Thanks so much Fay, loulou looks beautiful.

I discovered 'The Groomers Spotlight' through a dog behaviourist and it was Fay's experience, passion and bright personality that shone through in her profile. With two Cairn Terrier boys aged 8, one of whom is a front leg tripaw and reactive following a dog attack, it was so very important I found the right groomer for them who would give them one-to-one care. I was impressed at how quickly Fay replied to my initial enquiry email and Fay then spent time over a phone call talking through so many things with me, I already knew I had made a good choice and felt at ease. Today we drove an hour from Colchester for their first groom, Fay guiding me expertly to move from handstrip to simulation handstrip. I was struck by her warmth, the way she approached my dogs, she listened, exuded confidence and all in such a clean, cool, modern and well equipped salon, using natural products. I could feel my apprehension melt away. To say I am delighted with the end result would be an understatement! I can't stop looking at them! This has been their best ever groom and they look amazing with their new clip, much easier for older and disabled dogs to cope with. They were so relaxed when I collected them, showed absolutely no anxiety about being there and the attention to detail is incredible - paws, ears, nails, eyes. THANK YOU FAY from the bottom of my heart, thrilled to bits to find a real DIAMOND in the grooming industry. Such a positive experience for me too xxx

First visit for our chow chow bear. He loved fay and got amazing results for his coat. Fay is very knowlegable with all aspects of grooming... Bear is like a new dog!!!! Thank you so much x

Fays is like a diamond in the rough when it comes to finding a brilliant dog groomer. When you finally find a good one you need to have her number on retail. Just like a good hairdresser. She takes real special care of your precious ones. I trust her 100% with my dog. She always comes out like a beautiful looking and lovely smelling darling. Untill the next time. Sue.

Fay u r fantastic an u do a great job with sadie she has been twice now an both times Sadie has been abit nervous but fay is so gentle, patient an takes her time with her wouldnt take her to anyone else and sadie smells good an looks pretty afterwards xx

Fay is so adorable lady, she so caring and little bing towards humans and K9s, my dog Puppygirl (sasha) loves going to her and she always comes home happy and looks wonderful.
