About Feeluna Magazine

Feeluna is influenced by the sensational emotion of being as one. Our inspiration is "beautifully sexy" and our aim is expressing the raw, rebellious and provocative cultures through striking photographic imagery.

Feeluna Magazine Description

"How did I come up with the idea? Originally back in 2015 I just wanted to create a website that showcased less exposed photographers and artists, nothing spectacular right? well, my friends influenced the idea of putting my admirations of the sexy, provocative and not widely spoken of things in life into the mix, and that's where the idea of an online platform and magazine was introduced.

Feeluna, How did I come up with such a random word /use of letters? I'm not going to give you some sort of long-winded explanation of how some great Greek word has the same meaning. I was high as a kite, listening to my Spotify playlist as you do and stumbled across a couple of songs by Bombay Bicycle Club that just happened to be sitting on top of each other. I'll let your imagination work the rest out for you.

From there my mind was working at 100 miles per hour of all the types of concepts I could do with this magazine. My close friend Jess decided to join in the fun and help me with things on the social media side, along with promoting things through her connections at Topshop. After which my friend Selma in Switzerland decided she wanted to join in!

With Selma's skills in graphic /web development, we created some incredible things design wise. All types of flashy animations with a cool looking website after countless design redos, it was mental but in a fun way. Our social media presence blew up to a following of just over 33, 000 people, it was crazy! We had editorials /submissions flying in and out every week for a magazine that hasn't even been launched, 2000 + visitors a month and a 500 print run in the pipeline. I couldn't believe how quick things were building up.

April 2016 would be the time I will never forget after the passing of her mother our social media queen and my closest friend /right arm unexpectedly passed away. It was a massive blow to me, I couldn't believe it nor cope with anything. Feeluna went in limp mode whilst I tried to come to terms with my grieve. Thankfully all our contributors were incredibly supportive during this dark time, and now I'm ready to get this show back on the road. "
