Felixstowe Beach Holiday Park, Suffolk

Wowww what a lovely 4 days away, arrived Friday @ 14-00 early check in, was greeted with smiles from all in office, sat us down told us abt layout etc... very recommended indeed. Lovely caravan well presented, no faults wat so ever. Park was superb,entertainment was 5*,pool was lovely and water slide, walking distance to beach about 10 mins.... club house was clean, air conditioning ���. Would I go back next year of course I would ��.

We have just had a weekend away here , and cannot fault it at all. The place itself is so quiet and peaceful. The complex is clean and tidy , friendly staff , the entertainment was fantastic the 3 people that did it , were amazing!

The bar was well stocked , food was to die for. The pool was clean , and well managed.

Our caravan was perfect , we had a gold +

And it was just so clean and efficient.

There is a little adventure playground that's nice and central.

The beach is a lovely 5 min walk away , we had endless fun there too.

Will absolutely be going back again.

We have just come back from a 3 night stay and we had a fantastic time. My 2 girls had so much fun in the evening as so did me and my partner. Was good that we could play bingo and also kids were entertain with colouring on the dance floor. Caravan was lovely and clean with plenty of space to park our car. The camp site was walking distance to the sea front and shops that we didn't have to use our car at all. Matt, klee and holly are fantastic entertainers! Matt was brilliant at the family games that had us both laughing so much. Will definitely booking our next weekend away here!

So me and my partner booked a 4 day break, the price was so cheap, we had a gold plus caravan and wow was perfect! Lovely design and decor, very spacious, bed was so comfy, oven and microwave available, fridge too, there was a nearby Morrison's for us to get food, the caravan also had plenty of rooms! Two bathrooms and perfect shower, and a perfect sized TV! With freeview, we couldn't of been happier! :) There was a beach and arcades nearby, a pool and entertainment, bar and park included within the holiday park, it was a brilliant experience, definitely recommend!!

Loved it here my son has learning difficulties and finds a day to day life very hard and the entertainers Carl Ben and Zoe was amazing with him and us as a family he loved the swimming pool the staff there was brilliant caravan was lovely can’t fault the park on anything will be back soon made feel so welcome well done park holidays see you soon

Had a fab 4 night stay at Felixstowe Beach Holiday park visiting my family in Felixstowe. First time we have been to this site and reading the reviews makes it look worse than it actually is. The site is very clean and tidy with a good size park for the kids and swimming pool with slide. We stayed in a gold plus caravan it was clean, tidy and spacious. The beds were made on arrival. The park warden was very polite and helpfull when i phoned him to sort the heating in the caravan he came straight away. All the staff are very friendly and the entertainers are brill with good entertainment for kids and adults. The bar and resturant is very good with nice food. The site shop could be made bigger with more of a selection of things to buy but there are loads of shops just off the site. Felixstowe is a lovely place with friendly people and the amusments and beach are just down the road from the site. We will defo go back to this site in the future thank you park holidays for a brill time

It is our last night here at Felixstowe & before arriving I was very anxious due to all of the bad reviews but we have enjoyed this holiday so much!

Only downfalls was that upon arriving we were told we were a day late (my mum booked it) but yet no one called us on the Friday to ask where we were and if we were still coming..... once we had arrived the woman said we were unable to stay the extra night but we could check out slightly later.... we could see she was trying her best and being honest so we settled for that. We were then told the wrong caravan number & was not told it had been changed around? When we arrived in our caravan it was lovely and right by the clubhouse and pool although everything needed washing up again as was dirty still from the previous users!!! We also paid for the bed making service & after complaint was just refunded the money. I would definitely say they need more cleaners or more of a thorough clean. The heating did not work but in the end we figured out you have to turn the dial on the boiler which you aren't informed of and most people wouldn't know.....

However, we have had a lovely stay here after these little things were solved! The bar staff began to know what we both liked to drink & that I didn't like ice in my drink which was a nice little touch! One of the bar men were brilliant and always came over and spoke to us and got me into new drinks whilst staying here! (Although tonight he voted us to go on stage)!!! All fun and games though and a great last night!!�� Felixstowe itself is nice, morisons not far from the resort and Mcdonalds round the corner and nice arcades & fast food take always on the beach front!! It can be noisy at night due to the boats and containers etc but not the parks fault. The entertainment was good & we spent every night but one in the clubhouse, the staff are all friendly enough! A holiday is definitely what you make it and we have had a lovely time here!!

Had a wonderful weekend away with the kids and my mum and step dad. Caravans could be better I must admit but the staff are so welcoming, the grounds are clean, little work needed doing but money has to be made to be spent we understand that. It’s not the biggest parks so obviously funding will be slower than normal.

Food was lovely.

Swimming pool � was clean and the staff there was great with the kids and very welcoming. We didn’t really do the entertainment as was up visiting family so evening were pretty much out but what we did see it was good for what they could work with. Mid school term was pretty empty for them bless them.

Overall my kids loved there stay and would book again if up seeing family. � thank you guys

We stayed from the friday till the monday and enjoyed mostly going to the beach.

First caravan we were allocated having paid for an upgrade to a "gold plus " was a joke filthy windows and doors only one toilet between 4 adults and that did,nt flush! Plus the seat slid off when sat on! The windows had what they call curtains!!! Tiny kitchen and one small shower kitchen had a tiny little fridge no freezer if that was a gold plus I hate to think what a bronze basis was!!! On a plus note when we complained the reception staff were wonderful particularly and lovely lady called Debbie who went out of her way to change us to another van after us being told by the site "manager" that there were no upgrades and no vans on this site had 2 toilets ( which we had booked) and that all van layouts were the same!

Well lovely Debbie (not the manager) found us a fab caravan with all the facilities we asked and paid for and we could not thank her enough. we are now enjoying our holiday but it could have turned out so bad if we had to accept what the "manager" said

Apart from her I would say that all the staff are wonderful and that's what makes this park good and worth coming to

We are 4 older ladies on a 4 day break for one of our friends who is getting through chemo and needs a breakaway

The static was ok apart from the problem we had with knobs on cooker turning themself on even if we was out so much so we had the park warden turn the gas off to cooker after returning from being out with the dogs to the most awful smell of rotten eggs we thought we had a gas leak waited 2 days for engineer to come out and test so no cooker if we wanted to cook lunch turns out our gas bottle was nearly empty but still don't no why we had the smell gave me headaches and made hubby sleepy was offered a refund on part of our flexi dine vouchers then told we had to give 2 lots back to get refund we used our Flexi dine we wanted to cook at lunch time but couldn't what started as a nice week away for our wedding anniversary on the 25th turned not to be we left early as one of our dogs was ill will never book with park holiday's again shame on you felixstowe beach

Booked a 3 bedroom caravan for a half term break with our grandchildren and a small dog. Very dated and basic caravan, minimal storage, door opened straight out onto road with no balcony or gate so definitely not child or dog friendly. The caravan had a dank smell and the park appeared generally grubby, but new wooden bin stores are being built to disguise the overflowing dumpsters. Caravans are crammed in to make money over ambience. The drainage had to be repaired as the shower tray didn't empty and the toilet wouldn't flush properly, subsequently there was waste water flowing from under the van and pooling by the door . Initial tie wrap bodge job didn't work but the second repair man did a better job then said he'd been out to it the previous week and needed a "lit match" to fix it! All the staff were good natured, friendly and helpful (even the workmen who were using diggers and stihl saws outside our caravan for the whole week), and the lifeguards were some of the most professional and vigilant that I have ever seen.

Our 2 year grandson loved the endless trucks, caravan moments etc passing our door each day and watching them through the window distracted him from stepping out of the door straight into their path. He also loved the massive cranes from the docks that loomed on the near horizon, especially their pretty lights in the night sky. Misty starts to the day added 'fog horn' to his vocabulary. His older sisters were disappointed by the dilapidated park, but all enjoyed the pool and kiddie club (which was the reason we booked the site and it's only saving grace). On site entertainment excelled on our last day when 5 police cars and a police van blocked the road around us while officers surrounded the caravan next door. We initially thought an escaped convict may have broken in and be holed up there but the site staff reassured us that it was the actual owner of the caravan who had been exposing himself to children on the park - safe to say, we will not be returning �

im booked for a week well tonight my 4th into stay here im wanting to take my chilren home when u pay for half board to then a child dont get her dinner with the rest of us go and ask were it is as we have eaten to say o we doing it now which then i said dont worry as do not want her eating on her own as we meant to eat as a family and why we went half board after this staff spoken about it so we went back to the carvan as felt stressed and to make daughter her dinner dinner dont inc drinks for breasfast or dinner (soft drink) for adults

We have just got home from our break to Felixstowe beach park holidays I can honestly say we definitely won't be going back I've been to loads of sites and this was the worse one.

we don't expect anything fancy all we want is a clean bed so yes the van was dated not a problem but the site on first impression was not looked after rubbish on the floors over flowing bins grass not cut but hey ho we didn't care much.

Upon going to the reception to book in we had to wait till 5pm as it wasn't ready but we didn't moan we just said ok we will go to McDonald's grab something to eat and head back. We got in to our van we had actually paid to have the beds made they were not done so went to reception they got someone out straight away far enough, then we were putting our food away in the cupboards and there was old pasta in the cupboard and dead flys it was disgusting but I cleaned it out and got on with it there was utensils missing ie fish slice no cooking spoons but we didn't let it put us off we had a brilliant time on our days out but we have definitely learnt a lesson we won't be returning to park holidays sites in future

We arrived yesterday booked basic caravan through sun holiday but when we got here camp site a mess the weather is snow wind and -2 and when we get to caravan no heating at all apart from cheap gas fire which is crap

Oven don’t work

Hot water crap

Shower base was dirty

First night in bed no sleep to cold

Daughter freezing only 11

Everyone wants to go home so looks like our family break we were all looking forward to is cut short

Think it’s disgusting that this caravan should be let out in winter summer maybe but you can’t expect family’s to stay in this caravan with no heating at -2 -3 all night

I will be ringing head office and I will be asking for a refund I won’t let this go .

We arrived on Friday afternoon to be informed that our caravan had a broken boiler and it wouldn't be able to be fixed. We were told that we could leave and get a full refund or just put up with it. So we travel 2.5 hours and then be told that we could go home and be refunded.

This was my HEN DO. I was absolutely fuming and they weren't very accomodating.

As we opened the door we could smell 'dog' and the carpets were filthy and clearly hasn't been hoovered.

Absolutely appalled that 6 of us had to boil the kettle to ensure we had a warm wash.

The public areas were disgusting, the meals were dreadful but still cost us over £100. No toilet rolls/sticky tables/dirty glasses/machines eating money/rude staff.

This camp has gradually been going down hill but this year had to be the worst by far, there was no hot water or toilet rolls in the bar toilets early afternoon a man who was clearly intoxicated continued to be served a woman was smoking inside the foyer no doormen to deter it, the arcades were filthy dirty with no change in the machines ad only a hand full and of machines working or not stealing your money, whilst having an ok meal someone refused to eat in the bar because of the filthy tables this was at 5pm not in the middle of a busy session....do I need to continue!!!

Mould in bedroom and in shower, left a day early. Got told( well it's the end of the season �left my boots behind sorry they only keep lost property for two weeks, unfortunately I was in hospital after a violent asthma attack which can be caused by mould. Yes someone did come round and ask us if everything was ok but we hadn't been there long and we were having trouble with the fire which she sorted but hadn't even seen the bedroom or shower at that point. Such a shame liked the site but would not go back or recommend it to anyone else. Did get an apology sorry not good enough .(;,- d
