Absolutely fantastic! There is a zoo and only cost £2 each to go in. Brilliant for the children. The food in the pub was great. You would need to book a table as it's very popular

Brilliant place. The zoo in incredible and well worth the two pounds. They are managing the crowds well for a half term day!

This is a fantastic place to visit. The owners have done a great job building the zoo. It has a play area, a miniature steam railway which is fantastic. When waiting to order a drink there was 4 members of staff behind bar laughing and talking. I had to say to them can you serve me please which they took offence to. Dont understand why when me and other customers was just being ignored. I havent eaten here yet but the food looks good. Great place to take the kids out. Would recommend. Bar staff just need to have a little bit better customer service. The owner is also a great guy. So much respect to him for what he has achieved.

This place has got lots of mixed reviews and we went on the off chance at a Saturday lunch time. It was busy, took a little while to be served at the bar to order our food. Food was a reasonable quality but no gastro pub. Would be happy to go again, maybe visit the zoo bit too on the next visit.

An amazing must visit place! No charge for the zoo but please do donate if you can it costs an awful lot to look after such a menagerie.

A superb place with various parrots/cockatoos, pigs, goats, monkeys, lemurs amongst other things. The owner is incredibly friendly often working hard to keep the zoo running whilst always having time for people. There is plenty of outside space, picnic tables etc and a mini train which does cost a few pounds.

At the moment parking is limited in space, in a patch of gravel next to the pub but I believe there are plans afoot to improve this in both size and quality.

The pub itself is moderately sized with a small bar and a decent menu that has limited serving hours. While I didn't eat the food looked superb.

Do check opening times for both the pub and the zoo but go and try it out.

Decent food decent prices

This is probably the only pub in Britain with a zoo. The owners have worked really hard to make this a family friendly place to visit. There is also a miniature railway which will run through the summer and on special occasions. A great day out forthe family
