Wonderful place for a bit of clay practice and excellent staff can't fault them. If there's anything you ever need to know about shooting if they don't know they can point you in the direction of someone who will.

Went for the first time yesterday with my wife who has never shot a gun before, the staff and site were excellent with tips and information, will be definitely going back as a regular and will highly recommend it friends.

Very good ground which is well set out. Incredibly thankful to the staff for some quick thinking, when a live cartridge fell past the ejectors on the top barrel of my 12 bore, meant I could continue to enjoy my days shooting.

Took my partner for his first try at clay pigeon shooting Saturday morning. Had booked it for a birthday present. Great value for money for a joint try out. Very helpful on the phone whilst booking. Sent me a lovely voucher to present as a gift. Once there, staff were all very friendly and helpful. Kevin our instructor was very patient, safety conscious and instructive. He made our morning a very fun and successful visit. Certainly one we will aim to repeat.

Took a friend for a lesson for her birthday today. What an amazing experience! She had a lesson with Kevin! He was brilliant! So much passion and kindness! We loved him! He was very patient and lovely! We will definitely be back! Hannah already booked another lesson with Kevin! ��

Superb first lesson yesterday...Alfie certainly put me at ease, explained everything superbly & just made the whole experience effortless....will definitely be back & even the wife is thinking of having a double lesson

Myself and two friends attended the Fennes shooting ground yesterday and had a great time even though we hit a few and missed a few thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - I haven't been for at least ten years and was very impressed with the lmprovements made to the clubhouse and car park area - and to top it off friendly staff serving bacon rolls �

Myself and a friend attended Fennes shooting yesterday for an hours shooting lesson with Sarah, a very pleasant and friendly instructor. Felt very relaxed and at ease and safety was always a high priority. The range of shooting stations available was excellent and I'd love to go back and do it all again. Would highly recommend.

Me, my wife and step son went for "have a go" and I can't fault the experience. Our instructor Kevin was fantastic and so patient. Also amazing value for money highly recommended.

I was at the Shooting grounds two weeks ago it's great to come and enjoy an afternoon of clay shooting in a clean relaxed purpose built facility. Ps the bacon � roll and tea was very nice as well

I often visit the Fennes with family and friends to shoot. The ground is set out very well and the traps are arranged to be challenging in a variety of different shooting disciplines. If you need to improve your shooting this is definitely a place to visit. Staff are always friendly and the cafe serves a great bacon buttie!! What more could you ask for!!

Fantastic venue - my new favourite place! Alfie was the most amazing instructor getting great results from us all aged 10-56 years! Excellent coffee and bacon butties too! Thank you for a fantastic Birthday!

Excellent morning at Fennes being taught to shoot clays by Kevin. What a top bloke! Patient, skilled and funny with some lovely guns. Highly recommended.

Came down today with my son and his friend for my son's 16th birthday! A fantastic time had by all, we were made to feel so welcome and Kevin the instructor was so encouraging, I even had a go and loved it! 10 out of 10 will definitely be returning.

Best venue in Essex by far, and you get a great cup of tea and bacon roll, and a smile to go with it 👍

Arranged a shoot for a mates stag do . Absolutely fantastic. Patient tutors great set up. bacon rolls and coffee you set you up.. everyone in our party had a great time and will return. Thankyou for a memorable experience �

My local shooting ground and I'm a little bias but great staff and a relaxed atmosphere is always there to great you. Good opening times with late shoots in the summer months. Traps are challenging and the oscillating driven bird, long crosser and high towers make for a challenging shoot with friends.
