What an amazing place . We have just spent the weekend there as my son had his wedding reception there. Could not fault anything . The staff , the food etc were fantastic.

Went to Ferraris for a family meal today, and it was fantastic!

We had phoned the day before to ask if they catered for Vegans, and they said yes, but better with a day's notice, so we booked.

Had the most amazing 3 course Vegan meal. Cous cous and asparagus starter

with mixed salad, cabbage spring rolls for main, with vegetables, beautifully spiced and seasoned. Dessert was an amazing Aquafaba (Vegan meringue) with lemon sorbet and fresh berries.

Everything was beautifully presented, and delicious! Top marks to the chef!

All staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. The building and gardens are really nice. We will definitely be back soon. Wonderful!

Well what can i say......they have got it right on every level. I have just returned home from my nieces wedding at Ferraris. 27/7. I have never ever attended a function, be it a wedding or any other important occasion and been so impressed. Sometimes people really do want the best for you, even if they have never met you before. If you choose Ferraris for your event, i defy you not to have the most perfect day. Absolutely amazing staff, really lovely food (served hot)....i mean how often does that happen at a large gathering. Some venues will get some of it right, but i bet they don't get it all right.....Ferraris..Thankyou for going the extra mile, not because you have to but because you want to. We had an amazing time with you. And all you up and coming brides out there,who have booked at Ferraris, you are going to have a perfect day.

We usually have an eight hour drive home( tiring and so long), so we sometimes break the journey for a one nighter in the nearby Tickled Trout, booked Ferraris based on price and free brekky.

Great place, stunning location, beautiful gardens too. Our room was "Fell View" and indeed it did look out onto the Fell, good idea of not room numbers but pretty room names. The room was a good size furnished with pieces which suited the country house vibe to a tee. Bath and shower I love as I bath,and my partner loves a shower.

We had a drink and wandered the stunning gardens, what a venue for a country wedding. Friendly gardener who is an asset to this place.

Booked dinner and after being in the bar area we were shown to the dining room, very helpful young lad, pleasant courteous and knowledgeable. Food was good and great value, also nice and hot! My partner says his curry was beautiful and I tasted a homemade chip from his bowl, yum.

Lovely place I'd definitely recommend to anyone, we were lucky with the stunning weather, but anyone reading this thinking of booking, just do it! If you like older country houses with gardens and good staff, you won't be disappointed.

I also saw several family pictures hanging, of the owners, nice touch, I was sorry to learn that Mr Ferrari had sadly passed some years ago, his family are carrying on with his values, that's obvious.

We took a party of 36 for Sunday lunch to celebrate our silver wedding. When we arrived we were met by a staff member who had organised all the tables and menus for us. As we were paying we wanted everyone to be on the set menu. The staff sorted that for us. They arranged for our drinks to go on the bill and not everyone else's. They brought our cake in and then took it away and cut it and served it. I asked for coffee to be served in the gardens and it was all brought to us with extra pots available. The food was lovely, all served quickly. A really good menu with choices that suited everyone and even catering for one of our guests who is gluten intolerant. The children's menu was good too. The bar and dining room are very old world and welcoming. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The gardens are stunning and are a beautiful place to sit and chat with our guests whilst enjoying a coffee or drink. We had a wonderful day and I would recommend ferrari's to anyone without hesitation.

We recently had our wedding at Ferraris and what can I say! The place is absolutely beautiful and you feel like you're at home rather than a wedding venue which gave it a fun but relaxed feel.

Everyone was so helpful from the moment we booked and was very laid back and relaxed. Nothing was any bother for them at all!

On the day, we could not fault anything. The day ran so smoothly and all the staff could not do enough for our guests and were always on hand if you needed anything. We have had many compliments from our guests about how great the staff were! We honestly cannot thank Ferraris enough for helping make our special day so memorable. We had our wedding here this weekend. I stopped the night before. Our whole day was amazing everything ran smoothly there wasn’t one fault even down to the dietary requirements everyone was catered for and nothing was to much to ask. The venue is stunning place and we were able to make good use of the gardens. I can’t wait to return for a meal and relive our special day. The staff were amazing and we can’t thank them enough for all the effort and time they put in. Even the months leading up to it they were always there on the phone or by email going out there way to ensure everything was perfect for us. I wasn’t nervous one bit about the day as I knew they had everything under control. Thank you Ferrari’s

We had our wedding at Ferraris on Saturday and it was an amazing day. We went in to meet Luisa on a few occasions and she was so laid back yet very helpful. It was as though nothing was too much trouble and she helped us out with so many things. You can tell she's done lots of weddings before. On the day the rest of the Ferrari family and staff were doing everything to make sure our day was how we imagined.

The gardens are amazing and we've already got loads of nice photos in the surroundings. All the guests were very happy with their rooms and they are very reasonably priced compared to a lot of other places.

The list of great things about this venue could go on and on...

All in all so happy we picked Ferraris and could not recommend it enough!

We got married here on the 29th March and from start to finish everyone at Ferrari’s where absolutely fantastic, they made sure everything was perfect for us and just how we wanted, they came up with lovely ideas for us and nothing was ever too much trouble.

We got married here on Saturday 7th July 2018. The day couldn't of gone more perfect. I was not worried in the slightest about anything due to the perfect and attentive assistance we got from Louisa.....we got married in the beautiful dove cote in the centre of the garden which gave me a stunning isle to walk down through the beautiful flower covered pagoda, the food was excellent along with the service.

The gardens are stunning and any pictures just don't do them justice... all our 100+ guests have complimented the venue and food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone getting married..

We got married at Ferrari's yesterday and I have to say that Louisa and the team made it the best wedding EVER! We have had so many compliments, mostly down to the stunning venue, delicious food and general relaxed atmosphere. We will never forget what you did for us on our special day. Thankyou ���

We came here for my Mum's 60th Birthday party yesterday with family. & relatives. The food was lovely and home cooked and excellent value for money. The staff were very attentive and helpful from serving the food to bringing out the cake that we had arranged. We've been coming here for years for special occasions and willl definitely be going back again.x

We , as a family have been going to Ferrari s for well over 15 years. And have seen so many changes , garden, rooms , function rooms. We can honestly say it can't be bettered for value , food, friendly family run elegant country house and restaurant. We go 4,5,6 times a year. We were there Sunday 1st July, and had the most fantastic lunch and then sat in the beautiful garden .

WOW what can i say �We had our wedding reception here on 19th may (same day as the royals) it was the most perfect day ever. Ferraris was absolutely amazing, we had a perfect day & the grounds are spectacular. All the staff were amazing soo helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, was always there with a helping hand. All our guests loved the place & the food was �� The dj andy we had all day & night was also fab & made the reception really enjoyable got all guests involved. Cant wait to come back highly recommended ��
