What a fantastic place! Took 7 of my friend’s with me to start my 50th Birthday celebration treat. We had a ball. We stayed in sumptuous bedrooms and had the most luxurious facial. I felt like a millions dollars ! Dinner was exquisite & delicious. Breakfast great too

Highly recommended & will be returning with my husband for a repeat trip.

User

We have just returned from a one night stay at this beautiful hotel and will definitely be returning! Room 24 was just perfect 👌 dinner and breakfast was exceptional the food was delicious and the services was outstanding, we really couldn’t ask for more. A faboulous, relaxing night away in a great location very worthy of a 5 ⭐️ rating

User

We had such an amazing night away here last night! The treatments (gel nails and a couple rhassoul mud treatment) were lovely and relaxing and the six course tasting menu was incredible ! Highly recommend this great place with the loveliest and most attentive staff. Thanks for having us!

User

We booked a last minute overnight stay and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment we walked through the doors the staff were more than helpful.

The spa was perfect, enough facilities so the place didn’t feel over crowded.

The restaurant “weathervane” was amazing, the food was beautiful. We cannot wait to visit again!

User

Very comfortable, lovely staff who have been extremely helpful. The food has been delicious and it's obvious that only the best ingredients are used. I would highly recommend.

My husband booked a Poolside Suite as a surprise for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. I was thrilled to see all the romantic touches he had requested, including a beautiful bouquet, excellent champagne, chocolates, and a bed bestrewn with ruby red rose petals! The hotel also presented us with an anniversary card, which was thoughtful.

The suite could do with some TLC, and it would be good to have a minibar, but it was very comfortable, and of course it was a delight to be able to step from our room to the pool (swimming being my great joy) which was heated to a very comfortable 30 degrees C.

We had breakfast and dinner every day and the food was delicious, with the caveat that we were slightly disappointed that the menu only changes once a week - as a pescatarian, I believe that I had exhausted the menu by day 3. Nevertheless, it was of superb quality - the chef knows how to cook fish! And the home-baked sourdough bread needs its own separate review.

The greatest compliment must be given to the staff, each of which was charming, friendly, exemplary, and utterly unstuffy.

We loved our stay at the Feversham Arms and were very sorry indeed to leave this morning.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Feversham Arms and wanted to say I what a lovely time we had. The staff from arrival to departure were polite, courteous ahelpful. Our room was fabulous with direct access to the pool which was heated. We had a 3 course meal and breakfast included in our stay which had lots of choice with lovely food on offer. The spa and facilities were some of the best I’ve used with plenty of seats and loungers by the pool. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will return again

User

Had a fantastic two day break at the Feversham Arms. The dining experience was amazing, especially when accompanied by the wine flight experience.

The Maitre D’ Hotel by the name of Manuel was an absolute gem and made for two excellent nights in the ‘The Weathervane’. Would thoroughly recommend

User

Every time we visit this beautiful hotel myself and my wife can’t fail to have a super time in this lovely town. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the food excellent always. Will return soon!

User

After reading some of the reviews I was feeling a little apprehensive before we arrived about our overnight gourmet package stay. However we had the most wonderful experience and would certainly recommend this hotel and spa. The staff in both the spa and hotel were attentive, polite and friendly. The food was delicious, the restaurant staff were very professional and friendly , the bar staff were great and made fabulous cocktails. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We were able to use the spa facilities from midday even though hotel check in was not until 3pm which made our stay feel relaxed and extended. Overall both my husband and I have had a brilliant stay thank you.

User

treatments excellent and good value in spa and meal deal - my advocado and bacon salad really tasty - wanted to sit outdoors but green fly everywhere

User

Upgraded to deluxe suite which was nice but alittle tired in paint and bathroom required some serious work required, good breakfast however the evening meal choices were to fancy for us. Spa was fantastic but again alittle tired in areas again.

User

Lovey establishment with very friendly staff, bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for so to speak.

Was a surprise for my wife for our wedding anniversary and there was chocolates and a card in our room on arrival.roomare in need of the decor upgrading but stil nice and roomy.

Only dissatisfaction was there was more items on our bill than we had actually had

User

Lovely service and staff. Unfortunately the spa was a let down , the pool was closed due to not being heated ,the sauna was aired , the steam room was the only thing that was working properly oh and the jacuzzi was fine too however I still enjoyed my stay and would prably return to give it another chance . Forgot to say our breakfast seemed under cooked and insipid , not good .

User

Had a really relaxing half day in the spa! Staff and treatments were lovely. I had a massage and facial which was one of the best I have experienced - I think the lady was called Jade but sorry if I got that wrong - I was so chilled out! Lunch was fine and you could choose what time you had it which was great. Swimming pool and whirlpool were perfect temperature and quite empty as it was a cold day. Inside the sauna/steam room etc. were clean and very relaxing. The only disappointing thing for me was the relaxation area which was really just a lounge/waiting room, other spas that I have been to have day beds/bean bags and are dimly lit for a post treatment snooze! I would recommend it though and would definitely go back.

User

Great afternoon tea set by an open fire, Kirsty was fantastic from beginning to end.

Just were not told when tray was brought out what the cakes were

User

We arrived for my 50th birthday. The evening meal would struggle to keep a sparrow alive. We retired to our suite at 10pm and were woken at about 1am with the fire alarm blazing in our ears, not really conducive with a relaxing break. We spend about 1hr down in reception with alarm going off at regular intervals. We're advised by staff system fault, however the following day no apology or recompense for a disrupted nights sleep........

This cost £500 for a 2 night stay which would have been wonderful had the meal portions been a little larger and something done in recognition of a disrupted nights sleep......

User

This is in a lovely setting, and has a very nice outdoor pool. First time I went I was very impressed - however it hasn't really been maintained as well as it could have been. The robes are in generally poor condition - missing torn loopholes for belts etc and the material on loungers is stained as are some couches inside. Just some general maintenance would bring this place back up to "Feversham Arms " standard. Also the food is very average for what they charge. Standards have dropped a bit but the facials are still excellent and staff very pleasant. I only go with an online offer - full price may seem too much due to previous comments

User

Booked a spa day as a Christmas treat for my mum, if I’d of know of the terrible service I would have of spent my money elsewhere! Treatments themselves were great however customer service truly let the whole experience down. Robes that day visitors where given where nasty cheap brown dressing gowns (you didn’t get asked what size you required) and cheap nasty rubber flip flops, whereas the customers staying overnight in the hotel got lovely white dressing gowns and slippers!! Complete lack of towels which meant we didn’t end up using the pool or jacuzzi as they weren’t replenished the whole time we were there - 4 hours. Food was nice enough but more like the size of a starter!! 1 tiny fishcake and and a small pile of wilted spinach wouldn’t even fill my 18 month old! We didn’t get offer our complimentary prosecco and had to ask twice before it was brought to us in cheap plastic flutes. We weren’t offered any further drinks afterwards nor if we wanted any more food or dessert! The bar and reception were barely attended and you found yourself standing like an utter lemon for 5/10 mins before a member of staff even served you. There clearly wasn’t enough staff to run the establishment and the man who I presume was the manger stood about looking gormless watching the girls run about doing the work!

Won’t be returning and a definitely not worth the £250 I paid!
