Farndale Daffodils are at their best now, the fields and verges look beautiful, the best show I would say in the last few years. The church just a couple of minutes walk from the pub has a lovely display of flowers and the church is open for those who want to have a look inside. You can park at the pub or at Low Mill and walk along the river and come and enjoy a pint, a hot drink or have a meal. Food is served lunch times and evenings and all day Sundays. You can eat inside or in our large beer garden overlooking the stunning scenery.

Thank you to all our lovely friends and customers for your kind wedding cards and messages. We had a wonderful day and our now looking forward to our honeymoon in February. Love Rachel & Alan x

User

highly recommend this beautiful pub, restaurant, we visited today 24/05/2018, & it had already been recommended to us, what a brilliant find, from the lovely setting & scenery sat In the beer garden, to the fab warm welcome from Rachel the minute we walked through the door, nothing was to much trouble, the food was absolutely outstanding, I had battered mushrooms with garlic dip, husband had spring rolls hoisin dip starter, then 10oz sirloin steak for myself with all the lovely trimmings, & husband had the big mixed grill, cooked to perfection & tasted spot on, we were going to try dessert but we were that full from the starter & main we could not fit anything else in, highly recommend to all, will be visiting again soon, compliments to the chef 5*, & a big thank you to Rachel & Alan 5*

Wonderful 3 days with Rachel and team as always and special mention for Pete

User

What a wonderful place! We stayed in the cottage which is perfect for a couple and dogs as it has an enclosed garden. Plenty of beautiful walks on the doorstep that are dog friendly :) As we have 3 big dogs who aren't always perfectly behaved, we were dubious about taking them into the pub but Rachel insisted that it was fine. I'm glad we listened as the food was incredible, the staff and locals were incredibly welcoming and chatty and the log fire just dried us off nicely. Rachel could not have done more for us! Thank you for a lovely trip and we will definitely be booking to come back soon!

User

What a find this was. Stayed in the Feversham Arms cottage, which was outstanding. The inn itself was great. Rachel and staff are very friendly and willing to chat with you. Food is very good. Would highly recommend going to and having a stay at the Feversham Arms Inn. Will certainly be going back

User

We left our cottage to go to the Feversham Arms, it was only over the road but pitch black we needed our torch! We walked in to a roaring fire & amazing hospitality. The drinks, food & welcome is 2nd to none & our pooches are welcome too it doesn't get much better. Thankyou Rachel & your staff xx

User

Warm and friendly welcome from Rachel and her staff.....food as always tasty and plentiful. This was our third stay here and as ever never disappoints

User

Totally fantastic place! Probably one of the best pubs I've ever been to, and have been to a few. Food brilliant but what really makes it is the people, so welcoming. Can't wait to come back. Thank you.

User

Stayed there at the weekend - Rachel was a fantastic host, location is amazing, and the food is second to none. Rachel's dogs are beautiful too, we wanted to take them home. Not a clicky pub at all, the locals were all very friendly and chatty. We even befriended some on Facebook!! And Andy the local farmer is a star, a real character and lots of fun. Please see a more detailed review that I have put on TripAdvisor. A beautiful, beautiful place that I will be returning to with friends as it is a super dog friendly pub. Thanks Rachel for making us feel very welcome. Paul and Debs.

User

Spent a week in the cottages opposite the pub, had two evening meals and a Sunday roast, I must say they were some of the best meals we've had, good honest pub food, and plenty of it, the portions were great, Rachel was a great host, and will defiantly return.

User

Our first visit but certainly not our last! Great food & great value - the onion rings are AMAZING!!! Staff very warm & welcoming!

User

Made very very welcome along with our 2 dogs 🐕 Lola and Freddie. In the hamlet for a week been twice already. Food is top quality and portions are ginormous 👌👌👌if your in the area you must visit ...

User

Great place, great food , fab location & warm welcome from Rachel as always. We should visit more often! X

User

Fantastic pub in a stunning location. Food was great and owners and locals were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed overnight and would highly recommend doing so as the the room was very comfortable and clean and it meant both of us could take advantage of the fine selection of drinks at the bar. Also worth a mention is the amazing breakfast we were given the following morning. I would highly recommend a visit/stay to anyone.

User

Could not believe how nice the food was and very good value

User

Came on Friday for a meal and the food was amazing, best I've tasted in a long time. Will definetly be back and highly recommend.

User

Been on a few occasions to eat & always the same. Brilliant food!

User

Beautiful little pub that hasn't changed much since 30 years ago when I was last there as a young teenager. Very friendly staff.

Had a Lovely walk down farndale valley and a pint of black sheep here and then a wander back to low mill

User

Amazing little pub very warm welcome amazing food. Will definitely come back

My stepdaughter was married in farndale church on Saturday so we checked in on Friday evening to a great welcome with our German shepherd dog rocky & we are staying in the cottage which is very well equipped. We were joined by two sons & daughter plus husband on Saturday & they all thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality that Rachel our lovely landlady has provided throughout the weekend. Only downside about farndale itself is no mobile signal whatsoever but luckily there is wifi!! We have unexpectedly had to stay another day & night as husband was taken ill at the wedding & taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough where he ended up in the Cardiac Care Centre - excellent care given & expecting to return home to Essex tomorrow (Tuesday) - thanks to Rachel & her excellent staff for making it all easier. Can certainly recommend pub/b&b & all meals have been delicious. 👍👍
