It’s so easy to forget what Christmas is all about. Whilst so many of us are busy buying food and gifts for friends and family, others are facing a time of isolation and loneliness.
There will be no family feast to look forward to or gifts to open. For these people Christmas is the very opposite of a joyful celebration.
... So it is at this time that small acts of kindness take on a very special significance. Wether it’s a phone call, a hand delivered card or small gift or even an invitation for a cup of tea and some mince pies. These gestures of human kindness will transform someone’s Christmas and who knows....it could be the start of a new and precious friendship.
