love this place had excellent roast and they do a veggie roast for me too so top marks!! always pop in here when over to Brighton
great pub just how they should be well worth a visit good food good beer .
When i come down from London thats the 1st place i head to. Love the Guinness love the staff.
Very friendly staff, super music and atmosphere, also love the tiny little side street where it’s in
Usually just have a drink here, but had the food cooked by the fab chef 'busy B'. Steak pie (with home made pastry), champ, peas and gravy was lovely, and my hubby had the generous chicken burger and chips. We'll be back!
This is the greatest pub in all the Kingdom and I'll challenge anyone who says otherwise to a knife fight.
This bar has it all - great food, a big viarity of drinks to choose from, good music, happy hour, and very friendly bar staff. Will be back here for sure when I return to Brighton 😀
Ps: 2.95 for a Guinness on monday!
Regularly come and enjoy this pub with my family and friends and St Patrick Day and the street party's are great, bands , food, watching rugby particularly the six nations and Irish dancing a great pub all round with dedicated hardworking friendly staff and a great boss !!
One of the best roast in Brighton!!! Also good and cheap Guinness!
Lovely pub, good choice of beers, staff very welcoming, nice atmosphere! Highly recommend.
Lovely pub with amazing home cooked food and cosy atmosphere, I'll definitely be back. I can highly recommend the chicken, bacon & leek pie, served with real mash & gravy.
Lovely little pub and really friendly staff!
Lovely little Irish pub with a good choice of drinks. Will try the food next time.
Lamb shank and lasagne both top notch. Had a great time, inexpensively
Its a great little pub, food was good nice selection of drinks and service was excellent I would recommend it .
It's my favourite pub ever and I've worked managing bars, restaurants and clubs for 10 years. Paddy has an uncanny ability to hire only lovely, genuine people, the service is always great and the atmosphere is unrivalled. When I'm in Brighton it is always the first and last place I go.
I have been there for the #tap_takeover festival, had the most delicious porter beer (sorry but didn't manage to remember the name :( ) the staff was nice and they had live music, point for them :) love it!
I have been going to Brighton for about 10 years and was staying in a hotel not far away from the Fiddlers Elbow. It is great little pub in a back ally away from the main streets of Brighton. Over the years we have had good food good beer good service and not a bad price. I am not going to say were it is as it would not stay a nice little pub in Brighton that has live bands in the evenings
Had the best chips EVER here and the bar staff are so lovely and really efficient, especially Tara who is very organised and works so hard!
Had the best burger ever yum yum
We came down on a hen weekend
Will defo be back again 🤠👍🏼
Great traditional pub staff really friendly good choice of ales have fond memories of this pub
Great pub, just as a traditional pub should be, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and live music
Great pints of stout .. and that's coming from someone who has drank a lot of white pints of Guinness around the globe ... I will be back !!
Great Guinness and the food was great the pork belly was excellent. Big screen so able to watch the football. Down a side street off West St so hidden away a little bit but well worth the find.
Good simple food, cooked well and tasted great - all washed down with a tasty pint. Would definitely recommend.
First class pub.. Tara and the team made us feel
Very welcome I had taken two friends from Kansas City Middouri to Brighton and they loved the bar.,
Dropped car off to be collected the following day, after London to Brighton bike ride. Walked past the Fiddler's Elbow and was lured in because they were still showing a rugby match that we would have missed, due to driving down from London. Anyway... once in we were well at home. Good beer, good service and once the rugby was over... a great selection of music was played, whilst showing the cricket. Had to pull ourselves out of the Fiddler's Elbow due to a restaurant booking! I suggest, we'll be back (unfortunately, not enough time after the bike ride :-( )
Called in late Friday night, doing the rounds in pubs in Brighton on my sixtieth birthday no need to go anywhere else after we popped in here, great atmosphere and service, thanks to all the staff especially Hattie and Ben, who bought me a birthday drink, a nice pint of Guinness. Just off the main drag in Brighton but better for it.
Best pint of Guinness I have found since moving to England! Lovely staff, lovely locals and a cracking atmosphere to match!
Amazing roast today! Would thoroughly recommend eating here. Great service from Millie! So big I could not finish it ! And I like big meals
Amazing food! Quality and quantity in one dish! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend the Irish stew and lamb shanks, you can tell it's fresh and homemade!
Absolutely brilliant night last night. DJ was excellent too. We planned to do a pub crawl but couldn't leave the fiddlers as it was so good.
A warm and hearty welcome, lovely staff and Guinness and pie to die for! Hidden down a wee backstreet opposite Wetherspoons. Make the effort to find this place - you won’t be disappointed!!!
Irish pub on the high and perfect for a quick pub on the way to the beach. Gets busy with sports in the evening (Saturday) night crowd in the bar. No menu til June but have been there before and the menu is usually very good.
Hidden gem, great grub great ales in nice atmosphere and friendly staff .
Great pint , great atmosphere even at 5 in the afternoon , great little find , get in there before you go up the i360
Cozy feel ( well it is a Thursday) and 4 good ales, bar staff pretty good as well!
Was gutted we didn't get to see the noble jacks playing for a hour , only one of there songs they played , my friends and I came all the way from Crawley please try and get them back for a night they are the best
Where to start? On a stag weekend in Brighton. On the Friday, we find the Fidler's Elbow. The door staff welcomed us in. All 9 of us. Upon entry to said establishment, the man bun sporting member of bar staff asked us to leave, as there were too many of us. In fairness, probably saved us in the region of £300, give or take. We tried again Saturday. Unfortunately, we gained entry. In retrospect, Friday night should have been an omen. When eyes adjusted to the interior, Mos Eisley Cantina on giro day springs to mind. A den of filth, scum and ignorant breed proudly on parade. A team of bar staff, who all seemed to be related in a variety of illegal ways, looked at you as if you asked to molest their mothers, when you gathered the courage to enquire as to the possibility if you could have a pint. The obligatory gargoyle nodding away at the bar. Need I say more?
Now, I gather myself, and flee westward into the gathering dusk, lest they find me.......
