Went yesterday for the first time with friends, had a great time, staff were great, wine list very good. Will come again :

Went to Bar 56 on Friday night...what a treat.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. Drinks served in beautiful glasses. The whole ambience in the bar with the australian singer was 'finished work and Now I can actually relax. Got talking to the couple next to us, really lovely evening. They also have a garden area at the back to enjoy the sunshine.

Went last night and I can't wait to go again. Everything was beautifully presented. Sparkling glasses, a carafe of infused water, a stunning sharing platter. Loved it. The only downside was that my companion wanted a glass of Shiraz. This wasn't possible so our waiter recommended a blend . Sadly she found it undrinkable - nothing wrong with the wine ( I finished it for her) but it was heavily oaked rather than light and fruity which was her preference. It won't stop us coming again.

Went in when first opened and loved the drinks etc but wasn’t sure as manager was rude .... they got rid of her and now the staff are brilliant and it’s going to a place I go a lot ..... can’t wait for summer with that amazing garden and drinks xxxxxx

Staff and drinks on point and the venue is delish � Gewurztraminer is to die for dessert in a drink. �

Popped in for a glass of wine on way home and was really impressed. Great choice of wines, staff were very attentive and just a really chilled out place. Will definitely be back.

Lovely atmosphere. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. A very exquisite selection of wines and even draft beers. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a relaxed night with friends or family.

Just returned from Bar 56 to celebrate my sons 18th and his girlfriend's last week !! What a fabulous place !! Happy friendly, attentive staff who were all so kind and accommodating, even giving my son a free glass of fizz !! Wonderful ambience & so what Wokingham needs !! You could even talk without having to shout over the music !! (Yes I'm old !! ) cannot wait to go again !!!!!

It's about time Wokingham had a proper wine bar. A place where you can enjoy good conversation, good food, excellent wine and perfectly attentive staff. I look forward to many more visits.

Great place to come for Lunch and work from! The manager and staff are extremely knowledgable about wines on the menu and will ensure you always have an enjoyable time! Couldn't recommend the place enough for any occasion.

Great night, relaxed atmosphere with a huge selection of wines and lovely meat/cheese boards. Excellent friendly service and a great environment. A place you can sit and chat over a drink without competing with the music. Will be booking again soon. Cheers and well done!

Cheeky wine after work with my daughter who was meeting friends later we were welcomed and taken to our pre booked table by friendly attentive staff who explained all our menu options we ordered a Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz perfect !

We ordered the meat / cheese sharing platter with olives so good !!! Can't fault it definitely recommend it loved the attention to detail with the decor it's kept the old with the new .. well done Andy / James

10/10 an impressive selection of great wines along with informative and attentive staff. To top it off a wide selection of platters with a refreshing amount of vegan options. Could not recommend this place more

(New Review) Sadly it won’t let me leave a follow up review. But if it did I’d say how great the band was tonight. Shame I only caught the tail end of their set. Great bar! Andy and Hag have created a really great place. Hats off to the new manager as well. She poured a better Pint of Peroni tonight than Hag! �
