This week we are loving the new colours and patterns in the scarves that have just arrived - perfect for brightening up our outfits while itŌĆÖs still a bit cold. However as usual IŌĆÖm getting wrong for having too many nice ones and people canŌĆÖt decide which one they want! ­¤śé I had to pick four to show you today x

Spotted this on the Fitflop page and it really sums up how some of us are feeling in the shop right now, each day more new spring/summer styles arrive and we cannot wait to let the ankles escape!

This week seems to be all about Paul Green, well it is another great collection from them this season and they have arrived in super quickly so IŌĆÖm blaming that! I couldnŌĆÖt resist a little unboxing video for this perfect flat in this seasonŌĆÖs metallics

Sometimes itŌĆÖs just nice to read something lovely! This amazing lady has a book coming out and I for one will be getting a copy as I love the way she writes and her musings always make me smile x

This weeks shoe of the week had to be this because it is going to be jumping on my foot very soon and it has had lots of love on my Instagram stories. I love the print and the discreet detail on the tongue and heel is just enough to make sure I can wear this with just about anything. Last year I wore my white trainers out as they were my weekend go-to shoe so IŌĆÖm thinking this will be a great new wardrobe staple for this year. Oh, la la!

I loved the idea of this when I heard about it recently, a shopping mall in Sweden which only sells recycled or reclaimed items. It also has a fab name - ReTuna We are all trying to be more sustainable and look after the planet and I always donate my old clothes and shoes to charity but these are really making it work. Happiness is ŌĆ” Finding the perfect playlist. I am very late to the party but I have just recently discovered Spotify and it has made my early morning gym workouts and any long drives I have so much better. I particularly like this one but it does get me some funny looks if I am driving along singing my heart out! Spot any ones you know the words too?

Happy Friday everyone, I keep getting wrong for going too fast on my videos so I tried to do this one a bit slower so you can see more of the things! We have a gorgeous navy and yellow window in with some nice daffodils ­¤ÆÉhope you like it!

This weeks brand focus is on Peter Kaiser, one of our best selling occasion wear brands, always a popular choice for weddings, races and special events due to it's styling and comfort.

Spotted this on the very talented Start With a Doodle page which is owned by the lovely Gail who has drawn some fantastic and heartwarming pictures for my family as gifts. I think is very true and really apt for small businesses, I try to remember this every day.

It is that in-between time of year again, we are looking forward to having our ankles out but realistically need them wrapped in socks or tights still due to the chill factor. Panic not, here comes the perfect transitional shoe - the loafer. Ideal for wearing with thick tights and socks but then is going to look very stylish with cropped trousers once the ankles can escape. Do I need to mention it is super soft leather and very comfyŌĆ”

Anyone else suffer from serious interior envy? We have some lovely shops in the village that sell fabulous house things and I also follow some seriously stylish ladies on Instagram who have the most wonderful homes. I spotted this on Silent Witness when I was watching it on catch up and I love this mural on her bathroom wall - side note I also think she wears some great outfits and has perfect hair!

I may have forgotten to mention that we are nominated for two awards tomorrow at the Footwear Industry Awards! This is not one of those fake awards things where everyone nominates themselves so we are really chuffed to be nominated and to have made the final 3 in two categories. All the votes and nominations are by those involved in the industry so it's a pretty big deal for our little shop in Corbridge to be on the map for footwear! Independents only survive with great customers and hard work so consider yourselves all finalists too and take this post as a huge thank you for the constant support and pleasure you bring to the little world of Finale xx

Happiness is ŌĆ” the perfect dessert. I really have a terrible sweet tooth and like taking pictures of my food to remind me how delicious it looked nearly as much as I enjoy eating it! This was a meal I had with my best friend recently in Leeds and this was a Millionaire's shortbread bombe with Chantilly cream and was absolutely fabulous! Feel free to share any gorgeous foodie pics with me or any dessert recommendations?

Who remembers these? This week we loveŌĆ” shoe care! Not always the most exciting thing to talk about but very important to keep our shoes/boots and sandals looking fabulous. We have moved on a bit from these and have a great range of products that we use in store and recommend. (Take this as your reminder to give all your shoes a spray with some protector and a polish today!)

Guess what - the case had not even left Newcastle! Apparently the check in labels had fallen off on the belt and no one could tell where it was meant to travel to so just left it alone in a room with all the other lost and unloved luggage. British airways also forgot to try and find it while we were in Italy - paperwork apparently went to wrong place! It was a nightmare but her little face when she got it back in Newcastle last night was a picture! ŌØż’ĖÅ

I love you all (nearly as much as I love shoes!) If you love the valentines thing I hope you got some goodies and a nice card today if you hate it just buy yourself something nice or eat some cake!

TodayŌĆÖs Wednesday wisdom is very simple - wear proper trainers to workout! Although these ladies do look rather fabulous doing their exercises, I think I would get some funny looks if I turned up at the gym in a pair of kitten heels.

Had a great time at Finale yesterday. The service is so good we didn't want to leave! The unusual brands are a rare find, with new & current styles married with excellent quality materials and construction. Fitted beautifully....and so did a pair of slingback sandals in the same spanish leather.... so had to buy them both!!!!

Fantastically quick service (under 24hrs) from Finale shoes after a bit of a muddle with the brand HQ in London. Turns out I got the last pair with enough time to wear them in before a wedding at the weekend. A big relief! So grateful, thank you!

Fabulous shop, Faye knows her shoes and manufacturers. How different manufacturer sizings compare, whether you should go bigger or smaller. Nothing is too much trouble, such a friendly and relaxed shop. Just a shame itŌĆÖs not closer to me. Keep up the good work.
