Firefly Studios is a games developer specialising in strategy, MMO and mobile titles since 1999. Formed by Simon Bradbury and Eric Ouellette (who worked on the Caesar and Lords of the Realm series), the company has created many high profile and commercially successful strategy games. These include the multi-million selling Stronghold series, the free-to-play strategy game, Stronghold Kingdoms and the new free-to-play city builder, Romans: Age of Caesar. Firefly employs over 35 full and part-time staff with offices in London, Aberdeen and West Hartford, CT. In 2021 Firefly Studios became part of the indie game publisher, Devolver Digital.
