SECURE FIELD HIRE REMAINS OPEN
Hello all. Just a note on the situation around the field hire. I have been in contact with the local police this morning and they have assured me i am allowed to keep the field open and people are allowed to drive locally as their one form of daily exercise with their dog as it is totally private and within social distancing guidelines.
... If you are booking then please be aware of the extra guidelines now in place.
: assess your need to use and distance of travel involved
: Have your booking confirmation on you when traveling to and from field. (Check emails and junk)
: consider points of contact, gates/locks, wear gloves and use hand sanitiser
: use ONLY your time slot and vacate the field before the next person arrives, if you are early then DO NOT enter the field at all until clear.
: wash hands before and after use and use hand sanitiser.
: take your own water bowls/water/toys etc to minimise contact points.
: strictly no groups, only members from the same household.
: DO NOT USE THE FIELD IF YOU ARE SHOWING SYMPTONS OR ARE SELF ISOLATING.
: to help remain open (and my now only form of income) please adhere to all t&cs
THIS WILL BE REVIEWED DAILY ON POLICE ADVICE.

And so it continues..... Would you seriously only want your dog training to ever be done online???? Nope didnt think so. When we return to what the new normal will be we will all be desperate for social interaction and where better than A DOG TRAINING CLASS ... surrounded by like minded people that share a common love/passion. Not just dog training but socialisation for US!!! Online training if you choose to at the moment is fine but this will not be the only way we conduct dog training after this event i assure you. We will all be back in our fields,halls, barns or wherever we train and doing the job that we love and have worked very hard to be succesful at. we have worked our arses off to build our businesses and i am sure there are plenty of us trainers itching to get back out there in the piss pouring rain infront of real people and their dogs and away from computer screens.

THE BONUS OF HAVING A PUPPY DURING THESE TIMES...... So i have seen endless negative posts stating this time is the worst/most difficult time to ‚Äúsocialise‚ÄĚ your puppy due to the world in lockdown and pup cant experience life properly etc. I disagree because...... Pups adapt VERY well to life they are bought in to, they were also born a dog (i know!!) so they pretty much know how to be one around others unless OVER socialised and become bullies. During this time of social di...stancing your pup will be experiencing dogs,people and various other things at arms length BONUS!!!!!!!! This will help prevent thug dog behaviour ‚ÄúYOU ALL NEED TO BE MY FRIEND‚ÄĚ type stuff. *see knockers This is often learnt by pups saying hello to every dog they ever meet and also stop to say hello and jump on each person with the same old ‚ÄúOh i dont mind i love dogs‚ÄĚ spiel when they jump on them teaching unwanted habits from day dot. Imagine your pup spends its first few weeks hanging out just watching the world go by and interacting with mainly you.....BONUS!! It sees stuff, nothing good or bad happens. It hears stuff, nothing good or bad happens. It meets a new human at a distance, nothing good or bad happens. It meets a dog 2 metres away, nothing good or bad happens. BONUS!!! please if you have a puppy right now dont be scared , after all, these little buggers have adapted quite well over thousands of years living in our weird world and are doing alright i reckon ūüėĀ Yes teach them to be alone (see my previous posts or call me for help) Deal with being puppy mouthed and treading in puppy wee with socks on but as far as scaring you all into unsocialised puppyness dont panic.....they dont know the world has changed and will still shit in your favourite shoe!!!!
