First+ Medical Solutions is a Private Event Medical Provider and First Aid Training company based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. The company has been established since 2014 and provides a range of services from providing First Aiders to Registered Paramedics 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to our many customers and clients across the UK.
Due to an expansion of services we now require additional First Aiders and First Responders to join our existing bank of staff to assist our te...am in covering events. Although we are based in West Yorkshire, we cover events mainly across Yorkshire and the North of England. You will be providing cover for sporting events, festivals, country shows, and anywhere there are large groups of people.
We are looking for applicants who are committed to providing the best possible care to patients, are professional, tidy, punctual, enthusiastic and be able to focus under pressure.
You will work on a ad-hoc, part time, self-employed basis contracting for the company. Payment will be received through invoicing as per company policy. Some items of company uniform and all equipment will be provided.
Applicants will have to be compliant with the company and go through the standard recruitment process. For successful applicants further training will be provided and we have a buddy scheme so that you are never be on your own and not dropped in the deep end.
Applicants MUST have the following;
- Accredited Level 3 First Aid at Work or First Response Emergency Care Level 3 certificate or equivalent (essential), we will provide top up training. - DBS in the last 3 years or on the update service (essential) - A desire to learn and work as part of a team (essential) - UK Driving license for a minimum of a year (desirable) - Previous event medical experience (desirable) - Lives in West Yorkshire (desirable)
