Little Jamie was well happy picking up his first proper pedal bike. He went for the Frog Union Jack. We even let him help in building it. And then let him have a spin around in our Carpark. Go Jamie!!!!!! :)

Here's a few pics from yesterday's Sportiva Events Donut Duathlon. Where we sponsored a few of the kids and adult races. Great turn out and even had a visit from Rob and Moaksey. If you havent heard of these events check out sportivaevents.co.uk.

Bontrager Specter WaveCel Helmet's now in store.
WaveCel is a collapsible cellular material that lines the inside of Bontrager helmets. It is the result of a four-year partnership between Trek’s Research & Design teams, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Steve Madey, and biomechanical engineer Dr. Michael Bottlang. Drs Madey and Bottlang have collaborated for the past 25 years and pioneered advances in fracture care, thoracic and pelvic trauma, and head injury prevention. They are funded by grants from the National Institute of Health to help prevent traumatic brain injuries amongst cyclists.

Nice little wheel upgrade on this Trek Emonda SL6 Pro. Zipp 303 Firecrest Carbon Wheels and a pair of Conti Grand Prix 5000 tyres to finish it off. Looks great. Dave should be happy. :)

Another "Project One" Custom Paint bike is leaving us next week. This time its a Ladies Trek SLR 6. The purple haze paint changes colour depending on the angle your looking. Looks even better in the flesh. Nicky is gonna be a very happy girl. :)

Fascinating day yesterday. Met the lads from my Boo Bamboo Bikes Germany. Yes you heard it right. They are made from Bamboo in Germany and Ghana. Each bike takes up to 80 hours of handcrafted work. Will have a demo bike in store soon for everyone to have a look at and a spin if you fancy it. Its never going to be a main stream material but thats not a bad thing. http://www.my-boo.com/

A beautiful coloured bike on a dismal coloured day. This Purple Phaze "Trek PROCALBER 9.8SL Full Carbon steed leaves us on Tuesday for Spain. We have enjoyed having it here and wish it happy trails abroad. Goodbye and safe travel's you little gem. :)

I just wanted to take this chance to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my friends and customer's. Thanks for making it a great year.Its been a very busy Christmas. And this year im taking the chance to have some proper time off. Festive period opening times are:- Saturday 22nd 9am until 5pm. Sunday 23rd Closed Christmas Eve 9am til 12'ish. Closed from Christmas Day to January 2nd "2019"... I have always wanted to do this and spend time with my family and friends. I hope this does not inconvenience anyone. On the 14th of October 2018. (Next Sunday). Me, Jon and Richy are doing the Ride For Rowcroft. 32km or 20 miles. Starting at Newton Abbot Racecourse, through Bovey Tracey and up over Haytor and back. We thought we would make it more of a challenge for ourselves. So we decided to do it on BMX's. Its a Charity close to all of us. We have charity boxes in the shop if anyone is passing and wants to make a small donation. I will even give you a free Coffee. Thanks for taking time out to read this. Back in store. No need for shoe cover's. The "Fizik Artica R5 Road Boot". Waterproof and warm. Not happy the summer is gone. But my feet are happy when i wear these. Having worn these all of last winter. I can highly recommend.

Where there's a will, there's a way. A good customer/friend came in to the shop and wanted to renovate this old Raleigh 20. We tried to find some old parts that might be suitable. But all the credit must go to John Cooper. Aptly John renamed it The J20. These are before and after shots of this exact bike. He went away and came to show me the finished bike on Wednesday. Took my MTB in for a service as it hadn’t been ridden for a couple of years. Craig looked at it and took it in straight away. A few hours later my bike was much improved with a few cheap but good upgrades which improved it a lot. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

This is a seriously impressive little shop. Not only is Craig, the owner, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, but they have a fantastic range of products on show. Very helpful advice and service all round. Highly recommended. This place is how all bike shops should be.

The guys at fish dropped everything to help me fix a tubeless wheel that had gone wrong on the morning of a race.



Absolute legends, is thoroughly recommend you pop in if you're in the area.

Craig was simply awesome, helped me out removing a bottom bracket from my new frame & fitted a new one at really short notice (even put himself out & stayed late to get it done) & charged a really reasonable price. Will definitely be using Fish again in the future
