How time.......On this day 8 years ago Ed & Jill stepped in at The Fish, the rest they say is history, especially as some of their 'first' team are still involved at 'The Good Pub with Good Pub Food'
Famous, the pub certainly is and with quite a local maritime heritage, respected annually with the landlord's reading of the ode.
Pop in for a beer, glass of wine, perhaps a meal, Sunday roast and check out the memorabilia, don't forget the mermaids !

This was our first visit and I can sum up the service the quality of food in one word brilliant

This place never lets us down, we went last week and me and my husband had a steak meal it was cooked to perfection, the the staff can’t do enough to make you feel welcome.we also went for Sunday lunch, best Sunday lunch in a long time and the service once again was brilliant. Keep up the good work and we will be back soon .

Lovely meal for hubbies birthday. Crispy duck with mushroom, pancetta and parmisan rissoto for me, delicious, (would definitely order this again) and massive fish chips and mushy peas for hubby (too big for me!). Dessert even had a birthday candle and happy birthday sung. Great service as always. I'll be back!!!

I heard nothing but good things about this place for years and I finally had the chance to go today. My opinion? The biggest disappointment I experienced is the knowledge that this fantastic restaurant is so far away from my home in Scotland.

If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would.

The food is out of this world and they don’t skip on portions. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Will certainly be making a return!

Hatipped off for mid afternoon meal ...Very nice food, portion sizes good and reasonably priced too.

Great menu, lots of choice, gluten free available, great portions, well priced. Been twice, both times very busy - says alot. Possibly best to book to guarantee a table.
