Fit Mummy Description

ANTE-NATAL
This class is £10 pay-as-you-go or £32 pay for 4 sessions, first session £8 pay as you go.
The ante-natal exercise and work-out class is every Thursday 7. 15pm-8. 15pm. The classes are held at K2 Crawley. There is free parking available.

Each class will start with low impact aerobic /dance style movements followed by toning /strengthening exercises for the whole body, finishing with Yoga style moves, relaxation and pelvic floor work.

All the moves in the class are designed to work around growing bumps. This class will improve fitness and strengthen the areas used in carrying your baby throughout pregnancy, allowing faster recovery after the birth and helping you to physically cope with the labour and delivery of your baby.

Coreworks (Mummy and Me PILATES)
Every Wednesday 11am- 1. 45am
This class is £9 pay-as-you-go or £28 for 4 consecutive sessions.

During pregnancy our bodies are put under immense stress and strain.
Our posture, joints and muscles can change dramatically as our baby grows, causing mis-alignment and pain in various parts of our body.

Coreworks is designed to re-connect with and re-educate your body, helping you to heal and return to a stronger, leaner and fitter you.
Our sessions will concentrate on re-connecting your breathing to your pelvic floor and strengthening your deep core muscles as well as toning the whole of the body. Babie welcome.

MUMMY REBUILD- 4WEEK COURSE

Courses run randomly throughout the year.

This is the best way to re-build your foundations before going back to regular exercise. By incorporating the new way to train your pelvic floor and abdominals with Hypopressives we have seen amazing results in strength and waist reduction in just 4 weeks.
This is also a great exercise to do if your abdominals have not gone back together or you have stress incontinence or just dont feel quite right down there.

New mum health checks

We advise all new mums to do this as your first step back to exercise as it is individualised for the new mummys needs and ensures you come back to exercise safely.
A one hour consultation done on a one to one basis where we assess your posture, abdominals and general well being, making notes as we go to be able to offer you the best indivdual advice for you. Based on the information we take we will introduce you to some exercises that are safe for you. After the consultation you will be sent through a report on what we have assessed with guidance as to what is the best way for you to develop from here. For more details please contact us.

I thoroughly recommend Fit Mummy! Lizzie and Sarah are fantastic. The classes are definitely helping me get back into shape after having my little girl. I love how I can take my daughter along to the classes so there's no need to organise childcare.

I started with fit mummy after my second child was born. We started coming to the pilates classes when he was a couple of months old. He's now nearly 2 and we attend the body conditioning and pilates classes and we both love it. I get a chance to exercise and he gets a chance to let off steam and make some friends. The classes have helped keep.me sane at times too. Lizzie and Sarah are also awesome. So friendly and welcoming and really know their stuff. Couldnt recommend them enough. I really enjoyed the baby on board pregnancy exercise class, as it was a mix of gentle aerobics, strength training and yoga style stretches to finish, rather than just pregnancy yoga which sometimes seems to be the only option for pregnant women. I have just started the core control classes which are great as I can take baby! Lizzie and Sarah are funny and friendly- I found them both very welcoming and encouraging.

I love the Fit Mummy classes - I was a bit nervous going along the first time but Sarah and Lizzie are so friendly and welcoming and the classes have a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The classes are great - clear instructions and easy to follow and I always feel like I'm getting a good exercise. The instructors are always happy to help with technique or adapting the exercises if anyone needs. Being able to take my son along with me makes all the difference - I wouldn't be able to go to a gym class otherwise. He is also made to feel very welcome and enjoys playing while I work out - Sarah and Lizzie are great with the little ones and the studio is perfect for them to explore safely during the class. I love these classes and would highly recommend them - I only wish I'd also known about the Baby on Board classes back when I was pregnant!

I couldnt reccomend these guys enough! I started classes with Lizzie after my first child 4 years ago to get back to fitness, then when I fell pregnant again I was thrilled to find the Fitmummy pregnancy fitness, not dull yoga but real exercise classes which I enjoyed from 12 weeks to 39 weeks! Once my baby was 6 weeks I started the postnatal classes which you do with baby so no need for childcare! Not only am i stronger fitter this time i have made a great bunch of friends who I see regularly outside the classes. Thanks Lizzie and Sarah.

Cannot recommend fitmummy enough!!

Just finished their rebuild course and didn't have high expectations as it was over two years since having my second bubba

However, the gap/separation in my abdominal muscles has completely closed and I now feel confident to increase my exercise (especially my running!) and would love to do some more Pilates to improve my core
