Fitzbillies

Five stars for their Chelsea Buns and maybe slightly less for the cafe as it is massively over subscribed by international tourists and no longer feels like a hallowed place in an ancient university town.

Grew up in Cambridge & Fitzbillies Chelsea buns were always a firm favourite. Live in Australia now & Visited again last week for the first time in 35 years & it was wonderful to be transported back in time.
Chelsea buns were just as I remembered them but the whole experience has changed & we enjoyed breakfast there a couple of mornings also.
Have taken away happy memories again.

This coffee which is supposedly a 'large' size - cost me £3.30. Half of it was foam and the coffee is bitter. I would love to know how they get away with charging such a ridiculous price for what can only be described as a child size cup. The place may be aimed at tourists, which I am not - but even tourists know better than to fall for this. Do not waste your money here.

Scones are great. Scrolls are excellent. Coffee is above average for Cambridge. Staff are pretty good and it's kid friendly. I come here as my default baked treats source.

3 stars for this very instagrammable photo and competent service... there’s nothing special about this place. The Chelsea buns are very disappointing. If you’re looking for ‘fine’ you’ll be fine here... I would look elsewhere though for better cakes and good service.

A must visit place for coffee lovers. Worth having a Michelin Star! I had latte first with double shots and then with single shot. I must say, the best latte I ever had.

Amazing little cafe if you're in Cambridge. Very quaint and full of rustic charm. I fully endorse the house Capuccino's and Flat Whites. The fresh cakes are rather moreish too. Looking forward to future visits. We loved this place :)

Amazing service! The waitress really went our of her way to rectify a little missunderstanding. Was absolutely brilliant.Gave us free Chelsea buns. Coffee​ was not very hot though....
