Very expensive but wow,the burgers were fantastic, the chips fantastic and the choice of drinks were ridiculous. I have never seen a machine with so much choice and unlimited top ups. Amazing experience we will be back.

The best burger I’ve ever tasted! I was expecting McDonalds but this is a different league! Not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for (and more!). Loving the free nuts, free refills and unlimited choice of burger toppings included in the price! We’ll be back!!

Really fantastic place and very friendly staff with great food. Highly recommended.

Not cheap but burgers were very high quality, lean and juicy. Choice of toppings ridiculously huge - same for the drinks. Friendly service. Loved the free peanuts and fact you could have a beer. Definitely in a different league to McD’s and Burger King.

Just like dropping in for a perfect burger and Cajun fries on the other side of the pond, so glad we can share some great american burgers in York.

I have just removed my review from January when this branch was experiencing teething troubles shortly after opening. Clearly they have sorted these out and the York branch is now first rate. Well done to the management for listening to customer feedback. Highly recommended, we will be back.

Brilliant service just before closing on a Sunday night too. Guys really taking pride in serving good food and cleaning the place

Went for the first time yesterday and although the staff member who served us rang an extra burger through the till without me realising, the burgers were that good that I just demolished both of them with great pleasure!

Welcome to York 5 Guys. Excellent burgers as always. Great service.......but way too much salt on the chips�. Less is more, 5 Guys. We can always add more if required but can’t take it off. However, will deffo return�

Burger was lush, I didn't like my cajun fries, lots of dry cajun rub, son loved the normal fries, and Daughter (veggie) likes the cheese sandwich, music � was � mxx

The burgers were mediocre. Not as good as Burger Kings in both mine and my husbands opinion. The burgers weren't juicy and the chips had masses of salt on them despite the fact we weren't asked if salt was required. I feel that these burgers aren't worth the expense.

4 burgers 2 fries 3 milkshakes one refil soft drink about £55. Nice but not worth the money

I was expecting excellent things when I popped in tonight,but things were far from that. I asked for a bacon cheeseburger with mustard and reg spicy fries for me and cheeseburger and normal fries for my wife. The fries looked and tasted like warmups with 90% of them being no longer than a cm long. And my burger was soggy and greasy and had no bacon or mustard in it. I took both chips back and got a refund but couldn't be bothered to go back and complain about the burger.

It's back to TGI Friday warrior burger for me.
