Was really good.. service excellent on this visit, quite a wait, but this is normal and just eat peanuts while you wait, the food was outstanding on this visit. it's a bit pricey but a classic burger.

User

The best burger you will eat! Great staff.... loved this place in the USA and wasn't sure if the UK would be able to equal the experience, they did!!!

I thought this would be like another famous fast food place I could mention, so I wasn't expecting much, boy was I wrong. Food is delicious. You order at the counter and wait whilst it is 'freshly' made, then find a table. Little bit more expensive than I expected, but well worth it as you don't get lots of kids. Food was delicious and so much of it. Burgers are huge, with real thick burgers. We shared a portion of fries, which were also fresh and delicious, but had to leave most as there was so much food! Only downside is you might have to clean your table; small price to pay for a scrumptious meal. Well done guys, a lovely twist to a fast food restaurant. Can't wait for my next visit.

I loved every bit of it! Was a bit puzzled by the peanuts but didn't take away from it! Fries were delicious and plentiful and the cheeseburger, onions and mushrooms were excellent!

User

Hooked on the double bacon extra cheese burger and strawberry malts. The best ground beef money can buy.

User

Excellent service and food!!! And cherry milk shakes are the best!!!!!

Costs a bit more; tastes loads better! We first found Five Guys in New York (2012) and never imagined these plain little diners would show up at home in the UK. Freshly prepared and cooked to order in huge portions, what more could you ask for? Give them a try!

User

Brilliant service from all the staff and the food is just amazing I really recommend this place x

User

Brilliant is all I’ve really got to say!

User

Best burger ever they never disappoint, service was fast and friendly with plenty of seating. Love that the drinks are free to refill. Music was great and although you pay more here for the food and drink we didn't leave a crumb, so tasty and well worth the extra we paid. Try the salted caramel shake it's amazing!

User

Best burger and fries I've ever by mile.. but my only gripe is the extortionate prices £16 for a burger regular fries and drink is a joke

User

100% beef burgers top quality,

Fries to die for, fab service& nice staff,

£25 a bit steep for a regular visit but well worth it,

The only down side there is tax added at the end of the bill which could catch ppl out as in the U.K. We don't separate it

User

I have ordered hotdog which was delicious , above my expectation for a fast food chain store. However, quite pricey for a hotdog ala carte at £8. It’s good for a try. Free flow peanut & if you ordered drinks it’s free flow!

User

The food was decent quality but the prices are so expensive that I wouldn't go back. Maybe I'm just tight but if I'm paying £24 for two burgers, two drinks and one portion of chips in a fast food place it had better be the best burger I ever tasted! For me it wasn't worth it. Would have been 2* but the staff were friendly and helpful so I added one more

Ok, been wanting to try Five Guys for a while, so while out shopping yesterday we did just that. The store itself was nice and clean, well laid out and the drinks machines were impressive, we had 2 cheeseburgers, 1 drink and 1 large spicy fries. The service was quick and the staff very pleasant, our food took around 5 mins.

The spicy fries were particularly nice and plentiful as expected for a large, soft drink again was good and lots of choice from the 2 machines, the burger was fine, nothing special and quite thin meat patties.

My only gripe is the cost, 2 burgers 1 drink and 1 large fries was a few pence short of 24 quid, and although the fries were quite different the burger was not much different to a Big Mac, but for what we had I could have had similar in Mcdonalds for about a tenner I think.

Overall it was nice, worth trying out as I do love my burgers, but just not worth the money considering the other options out there.

User

Place lovely , but the food ok can't beat bryons burgers wouldn't rush in a hurry to go again, the place rave about the toppings but they are nothing special but overall service is quick

My teen boys wanted to try out a burger at "Five Guys" after a visit to the Vue cinema in Leicester. Gave them a £20 note each and they returned with only pocket change!! Couldn't believe the outrageous prices!!! £16 and £17 each for a burger, fries and drink.

Perhaps those charges would have been justified if there had been better service and the restaurant cleaner. However, the tables needed wiping, the floors were littered as far as the eye could see, but no cleaner in sight. Upon entry into the restaurant we got hit with the stench of burnt grease and that nasty smell did not let up throughout our stay. I suspect that the fry cook did not use the appropriate cooker fans or they were broken and he sloshed frying fat onto the burners.

In addition, although the fries were nice and I like the rustic flavour with the skins on and the burgers were tasty, they were also very greasy. In fact, one of my sons gave up eating his burger after taking just a few bites. The food took ages and ages, even though the restaurant was almost empty at 8.30pm on a saturday. That was after they got the order wrong the first time and we got overcharged. Yes, they gave us the wrong burger for free, but nobody could eat it anyway and it didn't make up for having to wait double time.

Wouldn't recommend "Five Guys", even though I like the concept of all fresh, locally sourced ingredients and freshly cooked product. Unfortunately, the delivery of the "best burger" is sorely lacking due to lack of cooking skills, lack of cleanliness and lack of service. For this, it's very poor value for money.

Make your own burgers and dogs at home. Much better.

User

Extortionate prices £8 for a burger on its own. Place needs a clean, Members of staff walking past the hand washing station after leaving the room. Basic food hygiene states hands to be washed on re entry. Long wait, very greasy. Locally sourced a fantastic idea. Pity it is so badly excecuted and over priced

User

After having a burger, chips and drink from here for about £14 I think the place is a joke, far too much salt on the chips for them to even be enjoyable. The burger was squashed in foil with half of its toppings falling out. If it was a late night kebab shop I would understand but this place is having a laugh. The only redeeming factor is the drinks machine but whoopdeedoo, it's not worth your hard earned cash to have a semi flavoured variety of Coke. Avoid this place and head somewhere decent like Byron or just the old classic over the road, where the big yellow M is.
