excellent food -special thanks to the staff as they went above and beyond o make my grandsons (Twins) birthday tea treat special.
Terrific burger and awesome fries (cooked in Peanut Oil using Yorkshire potatoes when we were there) salted... you know they’ve hit the spot when you order a second round
I had Bacon cheese burger. fries and strawberry milkshake. They missed one of the toppings I had ordered but the food was very good and the milkshake was nice and thick and very tasty....Staff were very nice....
Great place to eat. Perfect fast food that is cooked to order rather than sitting waiting under heat lamps.
Best burger and shake in town, have to wait as your order is freshly made, so if their busy, tough, but it's made litrally to order not pre cooked and shoved on a warmer. I love it.
Best burger and fries I have ever had in a fast food restaurant, well worth the extra money you pay compared to other fast food restaurants, free refills on all soft drinks. Perfect
Awesome burgers love the choice of free extras! Spicy fries are tasty and plentiful. Literally dozens of drinks to choose from - many flavours I've never seen anywhere else. The salted peanuts in their shell which you help yourself to are a great surprise. Recommended to all burger lovers! Don't expect McDonalds prices though!
the food was great I loved my milkshake it was tasty still full 24hours later
Kinda of a cross between fast food and restaurant kinda stuff. Price was acceptable as drinks were refillable and they gave loads of extra chips in the bag. The grilled cheese wasn't the best quality but it was only £3.75! Great place for fussy eaters like myself as everything comes plain as standard then you can choose which extra toppings you want for free. I agree with others how there should be an option for a meal deal kind of thing but I would still definitely recommend this place!
Just like to say that I loved the cheese & bacon burger, cajun fries and the milkshake was really good. (bannana, peanut butter and salted caramel) I think it could of been a few pounds cheaper.
It's like the half way house between restaurant burger and mcdonalds/burger king but place is layed out like a fast food joint. All fresh ingredients unlike normal fast food place including freshly cooked and made chips so it tastes really good! Same price as what you would pay in a restaurant for fast food comfort while eating tho is my only complaint. Works out around £13-14 each for a big burger chips and fizzy drink which you could use for a proper restaurant but like I first said they are really nice burgers so maybe again as a rare treat!
Cajun fries are the shizzle. Burgers and milkshakes are expensive but delicious.
Been 3 times so far. Love the food and the scaled back restaurant setting. Had a little wait for the food on our latest visit but worth it. Only downside is the price, seems like the novelty of it being over here (in the UK) has been used as a bit of an excuse to set the prices so high. If they were slightly more reasonable then I'd be visiting a lot more than just once every few months. If you did a meal deal for 10 quid or so (which even still, is quite a lot) then I'd be tempted to become a bit more of a regular.
Burger not much taste come in a ripped brown paper bag best item was the salted chips cold dull inside music so loud felt like you were at a rave
Went here today for the first time and will never go back! 1 burger with regular fries 1 cheeseburger with regular fries and 2 cokes came to £29!!!! £5 for 1 milkshake!! The fries were mostly burnt and were the scraps by the looks of it! Tiny burger with a srivelled bun! Completely overpriced and waste of money, really disappointed
The place was filthy!! Not a great menu. The burgers were good but that's it! Hotdogs were disgusting. No kids menu. It was cold and music so loud you couldn't hear the people on your table. Over priced for what it is
The Burgers are ok hotdogs not so great and very expensive for what it is! Nearly £9 a burger and that's without fries !! 3 burgers 2 chips a hotdog and 2 shakes and a coke £55 !!! There are a lot better burger places like the gourmet burger company or arbuckles even frankie and bennys you get a better deal !
OK Five Guys ! I have eaten there and was good! BUT twice now, (today lunchtime was the latest) my son has come over for a takeout from Hills and he has asked for Gluten free ie NO BUN. He grabbed his order and when he got to HIlls, guess what ! A BUN!!!!!this means cannot eat the buger even.. Please sort this out! its not a fashion trend he is a diagnosed Celiac, ITS IMPORTANT!! How about a free meal for him !!
Me and my friend came to your Cambridge store for dinner and were thoroughly disappointed. There is no option in getting a meal e.g. burger, fries and drink, and both of us being students can not afford expensive meals. Therefore when we bought the meals, £23.50 in total was extremely overpriced. The food was not the best quality and to be honest, I could have got better at McDonalds. The staff all were rude and unapproachable and they did not seem to take pride in their work. I was thoroughly disappointed and to be honest, I will certainly not be visiting again.
