On Tuesday May 21st, We are starting our new BJJ Fundamentals programme.
A 16 week course to give the student a base of self defence and confidence in the building blocks of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
It incorporates and teaches the positions and submissions you see in UFC/MMA matches as well as the street safe mindset that Jiu Jitsu was developed for.
... It can be paid for monthly or in discounted advanced payments. Completion of the course will allow participants to enter our advanced programme.
Start time is 8pm, classes last for an hour and run on Tuesday and Thursday.

Thanks to Westbury Academy for bringing some of their students to take part in their first Jiu Jitsu class today. Westbury is an academy in the Raleigh Learning Trust providing education for pupils who experience social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
It was a pleasure to teach them some self defence as well as talk about Mindset and Life Skills.
All of the students were a credit to the academy.

Well done to Decklan, Harry, Adrian and Brady who all received their blue belts last night :) 💙💙💙💙

Our student Rob doing really well yesterday at the Grappling Industries competition in Manchester.
After 11 matches he came away with a bronze and silver medal and a ton of valuable experience

We took 6 competitors to Grappling Industries - Manchester yesterday.
Rob came from our Mansfield academy and after 11 matches he came away with silver in the Gi and bronze in No Gi.
Well done mate.... You were awesome in all your performances. 👍💪
