The Fix-A-Gadget concept was founded in the Fall of 1983 when a family member came home from high school with a broken tape recorder for Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k along with AKAI DJ Headphones . When frustrated mounted from the lack of places to repair the tape recorder , an old style computer and DJ headphones a business opportunity was born. Several years later and 2 stores have transformed Fix-A-Gadget LTD into a major player in the Brown Goods Repair market.

We strive to repair most Items in 1 to 2 hours. Some repair items we need to special order parts and it can take longer. We stock many parts at our warehouse but there are over 1000s products models we repair and 5 to 10 components in each repair . Game consoles and laptops take a little longer to repair.
