f you are looking for a local bike shop, look no further! I've tried them all in the Clapham area and this one wins hands down. Great service, always welcome you into the shop, extremely knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I had an emergency derailleur issue on my bike and the lengths Ziggy and John went to resolve it for me a few days before a race was impressive! These guys actually care!

Went in for a bike fit, without any fancy schmancy 3D analysis on the computer. Just good old measuring and adjusting with a trusty human instrument. John knows his stuff and is super friendly and the whole thing only costs £50 (plus a new stem if necessary). Couldn't be happier!

Very friendly staff. Only had a puncture, decided to do it on my own but they ensured that I do everything well.

The best independent cycle shop for miles. Forget those nasty overpriced chain shops who pretend they know everything. John and his team are amazingly helpful and have a wide range of stock and gadgets. You won’t regret a visit!

The best bike shop and a repair place I have been to! They were very patient, informative and helpful when I was choosing a bike. Regrettably, I didn't get a bike there but when I came back on a way from work with a bike problem, they fixed it for me on a spot and gave me something to drink while waiting. What lovely people! I highly recommend this place! Great, knowledgable and kind staff with good sense of humour. I will certainly go back there. I know I will receive a professional advice delivered in a relaxed, friendly manner, and will have the good quality bikes and accessories to choose from. It is worth going there, at least for a coffee, as the atmosphere is lovely and you can relax while reading the bike magazines they have available.

The best bike shop I've ever been to! The staff are really friendly and unpretencious here, I took my old vintage bike along and they were totally un-phased and able to fix it in minutes. Great value for money and also seems like a nice place to hang out and have a coffee or beer. I would definitely recommend this place!

Needed my front tyre fixed and a general check up on my bike. Dropped the beast in on Sunday and met with Ziggy, he explained what needed to be done and provided me with options on what types of services and checks could be done as well as a very realistic timeline on completion, picked her up yesterday and shes is running better then before. Very easy to deal with, friendly and extremely helpful. If you like great customer service, with a smile, then go here!

Love the shop. The owner and the team are great - friendly and know their craft. I go there whenever I have a major issue with my bike - but more often now with small maintenance as well. I am busy / lazy, plus I haven't got all the tools at home; at Flags Bike I pay a reasonable fee to get my bike up and running while also enjoying a good coffee in a nice atmosphere.



I think I am actually happy whenever my bike breaks down and I need to take it to Flag Bikes and have a coffee :P

Just had a bike fitting with John and it was excellent. Amazing value for money while the team also helped with a few other bits and pieces.

Just been in the shop and had really excellent service! I am a complete bike novice so hadn't a clue what was wrong with my bike, but the guy was really helpful and friendly and not only fixed my problem but also taught me how to do it for next time! Thank you so much - I will return..and probably stop in for a coffee too!!

Johns great!! the good side of eccentric!! went in for some ideas on the cycle toworkscheme and he sorted me out really well no idea what i wanted but i really love my new bike and it seems to be completely what i needed !!

I was sent to the shop by another cycle shop that promised to fix my bike the day before. The other bike shop said that they didn't have the tools to fix my bike, and I was quite disappointed since I been cycling all the way from brixton on defected bike. Now I'm very grateful because I led my to the competent and funny guys Ziggy and John. They made me laugh ceveral times and feel very welcome while they fixed my bike quite inexpensively. I could tell that they knew what they where doing , and that they really cared about the costumers in they way they greeted me and others. There was even one costumer who came in just to say happy new year. I'll gladly travel from far away to come to just this shop. Thanks for fixing my bike and great costumer service:)

I was looking for a very big cardboard box to ship my bike back to Taiwan, so when I passed by Flag Bikes, I gave a go to ask whether they have available boxes. However after asking the boss straight gave me a brand new box by moving a brand new bike out of it! Lucky me! I met warm-hearted people there and got a free box! I really appreciate their favour as getting that kind of big size box is not easy. Thank you Flag Bikes!

I came in here with a broken front break. The guy in there (I think his name is Rob) fixed it for me in 5 minutes & didn't charge me. He even gave my bike a quick check to make sure everything else was in order. I had been to 2 other bike shops previously & none of them could help me. When my bike needs a service or I need help again, I will definitely make Flag Bikes my first port of call!

Huge thanks to John at Flag Bikes who delayed shutting the shop last night to allow me to buy emergency lights, which he then kindly fitted for me. Couldn't have asked for better help and support at a time when I really needed it. He clearly cares passionately about bikes and cyclists and is prepared to put in the hours and work to deliver a great service. THANK YOU!!

Hallo everyone!!!! I leave my feedback just to report my experience. As soon as I came in the shop I have been welcomed by the sales assistants. Both the young lady and the gentlemen have been very friendly and helpful. Once I have explained to him my problem he has been happy to resolve it. I have noticed also that the atmosphere was truly cosy so it is perfect to have a break!!!!!!!!

Fab customer service. John was really welcoming and awesome, it was 5pm and fixed a niggly issue with my shift changer dearailer thingy magicy. will def be returning.
