went for my daughter's 16th birthday meal, the food was absolutely amazing, the staff we're very nice and they looked after us .

absolutely amazing yummy food, nice friendly staff, over all a great place to eat and drink � i would recommend to anybody! �

Went with family for a meal, had a new experience cooking my own steak at the table even my 9yr old had a go we really enjoyed the meal, and nan surprised mum with the help of flames with a happy bday song and cake. Thank you will deffo be coming back �

Went last night 18/03/2018 .it was our first time and was very impressed with the service and food .we eat out quite a lot and our first time in Darwen at flames will return with more people and the cocktails were amazing ..so I was told . Also very impressed as it was my partners birthday and the hat and birthday song was played very memorable night thanks and see you soon

Visited Flames Bar for the first time on Friday, we were greeted by a lovely young girl who throughout the evening was very attentive. The food was lovely and enjoyed every bit of it, especially the dessert. The service was very good, I would recommend to anyone. I will definitely be dining there again.

Love flames, always friendly staff and brilliant service and food would recommend to anyone. Food is always well presented and the scenery and decor is beautiful.

First time visit tonight for my son's birthday, brilliant service, extremely smiley and helpful staff, the food was the best meal we've had in a while and excellent value for money!!!!

Can't wait to return for my other son's birthday in a few weeks time(at his request�)

Booked a table for my husband's 30th Birthday yesterday for 7 people. I received a phone call earlier in the day to confirm the booking which was great!

The staff were all really friendly and the food was superb. My steak was cooked to absolute perfection and everyone else at the table only had compliments.

They even brought hubby a little cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday to him �

Really pleased I chose a local restaurant and will definitely be coming back again.

Visited on Saturday night and really enjoyed the food. Two of our party had burgers which they both really enjoyed, two had steak on a stone and one had a cooked steak. The cooked steak although a 10oz like the other 2 was half the size of the other 2, OK allow for shrinking but surely not half the size. The other reason for the 3 stars is that we felt rushed whilst we was in there, they were clearing plates whilst people were still eating and constantly being visited to ask if we wanted anything else and if everything is OK. Although everything was nice on the whole found it expensive for the amount we got also.

Great food service was ok the waiters and waitresses lovely did a cracking job. Only downside is basically getting kicked out soon as spoon down after dessert even though rest of party hadn't finish being told other people were waiting for our table wasn't our problem ruined the good experience due to them overbooking not exactly good service being told to go when spending nearly £300, 2 hours for 14 people then being rushed out the door. Not sure would come back after that, think it was the owner/manager as well.

Booked a table for 8.00pm , wasn’t happy with its location so waited till 8.30pm to be seated , we waited 35 mins for someone to take our order in the end my husband ending up going to the bar and telling them that we were ready to order , I had already pre-ordered my lobster with king prawns , waited another 30 mins only to be told that there wasn’t a lobster for me this was after we had eaten our starters , had to keep going to the bar for drinks as the wine didn’t arrive , service very slow and food not really up to scratch

Went tonight for a family meal. Wouldn’t go back. Food was very average. Out of the full family nobody was really impressed with any of it but nobody was utterly disappointed either. The chips are the cheapest frozen greasy spoon cafe chips you can get when they should be made from fresh potatoes in my opinion for the style of restaurant it’s trying to be. Garlic bread starter didn’t really taste of garlic. Service was good to be fair but the quality of ingredients let it down. The bar lady also picked up ice with her hand and put it in my glass for my drink, I kindly asked her to make me a fresh one without touching the ice which she did to be fair and her boss apologised to me.



Really surprised how many 5* reviews there are, there a loads of better restaurants around than this. Just felt like a poorer version of fire pit, which is excellent by the way.
