We can assist clients to living a fulfilling life through the achievement of their rights, independence, choice and inclusion within society. All referrals are followed by a full assessment period of 12 weeks, where reports from previous placements, families and service users are used to create a potential personal plan. We offer a holistic approach to assisted living that considers every aspect of daily life. Following assessment, a Person Centred Plan is agreed which outlines needs and the manner in which they are to be addressed. An emphasis is placed upon activities of daily living, while also reflecting individual choices and aspirations. Diverse activities are available to suit differing needs and choices, including theme parks, zoos, trains, snooker, swimming and the gym. We also arrange an annual holiday, which has previously included destinations such as: Norfolk, Isle of Wight, New Forest and Cornwall. Clients will have access to a large vegetable patch in the back garden, where there are also several chickens that they can take an active role in helping to look after. Cranmore is operated by Flarepath Limited, a family owned and run company that values the individual and can adapt quickly to their changing needs. The staff team at Cranmore are led by the Registered Manager, Amanda, who has many years experience in care, the staff are experienced and motivated, and are supported by a full programme of training, including induction and specialist training for autism, Prader-Willi syndrome and Control and Restraint. Any gaps in the expertise of the staff team are complimented by relationships with local professionals.
