Mark could not be more helpful, BRILLIANT!!
Best bike shop in town by far, Mark the owner is a pleasure to deal with and mainly sells vintage bikes restored to a very high standard, although seems to have a bit of everything.
Would recommend to anybody looking for a good quality bike or parts.

I just got a tune up for my road bike at Flat Planet Cycles. Mark did an excellent job! He had my bike ready in no time at all, for a very fair price, and now my bike is working wonderfully!
Please do not be fooled by this shop. We have had a terrible experience here after taking a vintage bike in to be refurbished. His workmanship is shoddy and we have to take it else where to fix the problems. The owner became aggressive towards us in the end. There are much better bike shops around Cambridge. This one certainly isn't reliable.
Finally a reliable bike shop in Cambridge! I stopped by as a novice road cyclist to ask advice on adjusting the bike I'm using to prepare it for a long-distance ride this April and am so pleased that I did. Mark was happy to give me help with fitting mud-guards, changing the stem, handlebars and more on multiple occasions, and is an absolute fountain of knowledge! No chance of getting ripped off here, and the custom bikes in the shop are gorgeous- if I find myself hooked on road cycling, I'll be coming back for sure.
