Fleet Woodwind

I'm an enthusiastic and experienced flute, saxophone and clarinet teacher. I teach both children and adults, from beginners to advanced players.

My name is Jasmine and I am an experienced and enthusiastic woodwind teacher living in Fleet, Hampshire. I attended the University of Surrey to read Music from 2004-2007; while at University I studied flute performance (including alternative techniques! ) under Ian Clarke and recently have been taking lessons with Susan Milan. In 2010 I gained a DipABRSM diploma in flute performance and am currently studying towards the LRSM performance diploma.

I am currently a member of the Junction 4 Big Band playing alto saxophone and I also play in the Surrey Police Band. I have also played in the orchestra pit in local shows such as Thoroughly Modern Millie and Oliver.

I have over 12 years of teaching experience and am happy to teach all levels and ages from beginners to post- grade 8 students. I can prepare pupils for graded exams (ABRSM and Trinity boards) and we also play music for fun!

As a wind player I think it’s important to gain experience of ensemble playing so I play duets frequently with my students as well as encouraging them to join their school /local band or orchestra.
