Flight Simulators Midlands

This was a Groupon taster session for my son who has ambitions to be a commercial airline pilot! From the start of the experience the staff were great. Polite, accommodating and put a 16yr old at ease. Rick, his instructor was brilliant, talking him through everything and though I thought my son would never manage to land at Hong Kong airport with Rick's guidance he had an almost perfect landing. Far from putting him off with his dreams, I still have a ambitious future pilot in the house!! Thank you very much. Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a go at 'flying' a big jet!

Received a voucher for Birthday to have this experience in a 747-400 simulator. A closet Plane nerd that I am, it was an awesome gift. Dave our instructor was a great guy and gave us lots of journey insight into the economic decisions that impact flight planning as much as how to fly. Had an awesome flight from Heathrow to Gatwick and then San Francisco around the bay and back to land. More intense that I thought but managed to land ok both times with a little help. My wife thought she might be bored looking on but loved it. Re-booked straight away with a "Dave Special" and will do the full motion and get wifey in the driving seat next time !!

Omg I've been today, second time in the simulator but first time flying. Both my dad and I had half hour each and I loved it. Everything I knew about flying principles I seemed to forget when I sat in that seat. But I got it up and down safely (with I presume a lot of help and trim from my instructor). My arms still ache, but hope I'll get the chance again and won't be so timid. Thanks dave for putting up with us both today and last year. Great fun. X

Absolutely brilliant. Many thanks to Capt Pete Green for a very enjoyable hour. Be warned it's very addictive and already booked another session!

Just completed a session in the a320 with Jordan. Amazing experience! I could have spent all day there talking aviation! Thank you and we will see you again for the 747 flight!

Just a quick thank you. I don't have a Facebook account so my wife is posting this for me. She arranged a 747 simulator ride on the 30th October. It was brilliant - Rick was excellent, made me feel like I was really flying the 747. An experience not to be missed. Please thank Rick for me. My wife was there in the cockpit and she thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We are due to fly to Florida soon and as luck would have it it's a 747. Loved the experience soooo much she booked a voucher for me for the 737 simulator. Dave Malone

I am currently working towards my PPL so have a little flying experience under my belt I decided to treat myself to a motion flight in the A320 sim I was not disappointed. This is a must for anyone who has a passion for aviation not only for people with a flying background but for anyone who just wants to give it a try, I will defiantly be visiting again and again. I would also like to say a BIG thank you to the team for making it such a great experience.

Had an amazing day! I am a huge avgeek and my partner gifted me this experience for my birthday. A pre-flight briefing away from the simulator itself covered the basics of flight and the main flight instruments of the 737. Although I'm familiar with them (I sim at home regularly online using the PMDG 737NGX) I thought the briefing would be a good introduction if you were unfamiliar.



Our instructor, 'Rick' suggested 'touch and go' circuits at Hong Kong's airports. We proceeded to the simulator (in a hanger). The cockpit was immersive and thorough. Our instructor briefed me on our plans and backing me up on the throttle (as a real pilot monitoring would) I increased the throttle and up we went!



He adapted the style of delivery based on my knowledge and kept the experience engaging and challenging. I can say I learned a lot and I particularly appreciated being able to include the physicality of flight controls to my previous simulator experiences.



The motion feature helped with manoeuvring the aircraft and the choice of location gave ample opportunities for VFR (visual flight rules) and IFR (instrument flight rules).



Rick is an experienced pilot and flight instructor. He was friendly, very knowledgable and engaging.



I fully intend to return and would love to run through a complete flight, gate to gate.



I would recommend this experience to enthusiasts, flight sim avgeeks and initiates all the same. I can't wait for the next sector!

Had a super day yesterday with Captain Dave Warner on the 737, flying from and to LAX then doing a circuit from East Midlands, my 50 hours in a Piper Tomahawk didn't really help too much as the difference is a bit like that between your family saloon car and a F1. So, great to experience the difference. Booked to go back and do the Sully Experience and hopefully pull in Hong Kong Kai Tak landing too.

Had a flight voucher for my birthday, had a wonderful day flying the Boeing 737 full motion simulator my instructor was absolutely fabulous full of knowledge and encouragement, thank you so much captain Dave, I highly recommend that anybody who is a plane nut like me take a few hours and challenge themselves to a flight sim with these guys. I flew out and in to Barcelona el prat (my choice) as I regularly travel to this airport and wanted to try my hand and it, my instructor Dave was impressed with my landing that he'd have been very happy to fly with me for real. Thanks again for taking time and making my day so special, hopefully see you again.

Had a flight planned in the 747 for my 50th birthday. When we arrived Rick offered us the chance to switch to the moving sim 737. I decided to switch. Rick was a brilliant instructor and made me feel very at ease, he has lots of experience and made the whole flight very enjoyable. I would highly recommend flight simulators Midlands and especially Rick, the whole thing was awesome.

Had a flight brought me as a gift and can say it is the most enjoyable experience i have ever done. Will definitely be back very soon to do it again. Big thank you to captain dave. He explained what i needed to do and made the experience more enjoyable.

Had a fantastic experience with Captain Rick at F.S.M. Last week.Throughout the experience from the briefing to the 1 hour in the A320 airbus simulator,everything was calm and totally professional..

The hour in the cabin felt like you were really flying the plane yourself and gave me a really good insight into what a pilot a actually has to do.

Great day out, have already booked again.......would highly recommend.

Had a 60-minute 737 simulator experience a couple of days ago and it was as good as I'd hoped it would be. The trainer, Dave, was very helpful and informative, answering all my questions from this wealth of knowledge and experience. Everything was very realistic as we completed three take-offs and landings as well as some regular flying. Thanks for the experience.

Fantastic experience. Our grandson loved it. So friendly and informative, we came away with a much clearer idea of what it entails to be a pilot. Thankyou we are coming back.

A fabulous experience all round. Lots of 'hands on' in the 737. Another activity ticked off the bucket list. Felt very welcomed.... Thank you all.
