Went to bubble party yesterday, hadn’t been in since refurb & new management. Bubble party was fab, and all staff really friendly.

We often visit for a drink in the sun & so our little lady can play in the play area! Yesterday (13/05/18) was the first time we had food since Linda took it over and it was beautiful! We both had burgers and they were massive!! The atmosphere is always lovely at this pub. 10/10 from us!!

We have been for a family meal today and was pleasantly surprised by the option of a vegi pasta and garlic bread for my son considering usually with carvery you only have the option of meat or no meat x the carvery was beautiful x this is definitely our favourite Sunday lunch in the area (sorry mam haha) xoxo

The food was delicious the burgers where bigger than we thought so it defeated me would highly recommend will be coming back soon food arrives fast from placing my order! X

I've recently joined the team at Floaters Mill and here nothing but praise about how helpful, cheerful, attentive and super helpful staff are. The new Landlord and Lady have lots of experience in how to run a successful pub and the Floaters has completely turned around, really recommend it. X

Had my birthday meal here with family at the weekend, all of the staff welcomed us and were on point all night, couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate my birthday. Burgers are amazing! Kids meal was great compare to other restaurants and very well priced. Drinks are very well priced and got to try the massive selection of gins, rhubarb with ginger beer tonic is the best ever! Thanks guys, will be back many times over the summer with the family �

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch carvery yesterday for mother’s day.Newly refurbished,friendly staff and food was lush,def recommend xx😀

Decided to meet up with old friends and our kids here. Perfect spot for a rainy/ sunny day with little ones of various ages. We swapped around tables, had photographs taken by staff, ate random food at random times. Staff were friendly and only too happy to help. Thank you :)

Came here yesterday with my friend and the food was absolutely beautiful! The place is clean, fresh and welcoming what made it even better was the lady behind the bar who oozes in such excellent customer service! Will deffo be coming back again and will be telling people about the fresh beautiful food 5*

Setting and pub is excellent... staff are really friendly it would of got a 5 star for everything but there’s only one gripe I have and it’s the chips... been here a lot of times and food is very good but having home made chips (possibly triple cooked) would make it excellent !!

Hello. We came to the Floaters Mill today from Jarrow and hadn't been for a few years. Upon arrival we were told there had been a problem with the kitchen/cooker and the carvery would be late to be started.

We waited along with our toddler and baby and after about one hour, the carvery was on and the food was being served.

The staff were so lovely and apologetic, the food was gorgeous and well worth the wait. The desserts were

Gorgeous and at only £2 a piece, great value too. And the chat at the bar was very pleasant with some of the regulars too who were kind to me and my little ones.

The play area was a damn site better than it had been two years ago when you'd be stung on a nettle if you'd even opened the gate.

The play area was clean and tidy and the assault course was excellent and very well maintained.

P.s I hope you're back or leg is ok! The lads were telling me you'd put it out (sorry forgot the finer details) whilst out with them lot!

Food was really lovely very tasty staff were very friendly could not fault it x

Disappointed with tonight fish Friday...Fish small and lacking quality, chips anaemic query oven chips and mushy pea microwaved to dealth to add insult to injury.... only served house wine that was just say drinkable.... Shame we had a really good steak nite a few weeks ago....

We went today for our Sundays lunch. We booked a table for 6. We have not been here for about 2 years. It was a carvery it took ages to get served. And when we got the food. It was cold the staff did not seem to be bothered. We won't be going back.

Haven't been to this pub for a while and ten of us came for my sisters anniversary. We turned up to be told the booking wasn't In the book and no table was ready, we only waited a few minutes and after an apology a table was set for ten. My sister had to change one of the chairs as it was broke and a knife was returned as it was dirty. The food came and it was ok nothing to rave about and we thought were small portions. We didn't have anyone come to ask wether the food was ok and after sitting for a while after our meal had finished no one came to clear the table. We left feeling very disappointed and won't be returning.

Really disappointed staff rude really unorganized food took off early on first busiest bank holiday of year !!!!
