Flower Of May

Had a lovely break thanks to the highly accommodating staff. Special thanks to Mark and Shirley (receptionist), who made it possible after being let down by another site due unavoidable circumstances. Amenities were fantastic; A friend who visited us on site and has travelled all over Europe and England,visiting various sites along the way said "the cleanest and best toilets and shower block he has used - second to none" - Thank you - we will be back!

Tent area on a mild slope. A bit of a hike to the toilet block but they are very well maintained. Excellent children's play area and swimming pool. Bar and entertainment which I didn't use. Not somewhere to go for peace and quiet but brilliant for families

We just had another fantastic weeks holiday camping.The facilities are all cleaned regularly and we have no complaints, shop on site is very reasonable priced, fish and chip shop and cafe are a very good though a little slow at serving at times, swimming pool is good value for money.

Fabulous site always clean, tidy and very well kept. Fantastic facilities fish and chip shop - lovely fish could have been cooked a little longer but that is personal preference, shop is rather expensive but the garage at the end of the drive has a Spar which is fairly reasonable, didn't try the cafe, swimming pool was spot on charged us £2 each with a pass.

Nice clean site. With reasonable priced shop and fish and chip shop. Small amusement arcade. Swimming pool for a fee. And entertainment complex . only dislike was nothing except bar was open at night. The week I stayed at beginning of July. So had to go to Scarborough for entertainment.

Loved the sight as soon as we got their I have now decided to keep my caravan on the sight 😀

Great place, ideal for families with kids in the 3-14 range. Warden very helpful. Most pitches have individual electric, water & drain with hard standing for awning. Plenty of like minded caravanners here : hardly ever seen idiots on this site. Most folk will pitch in and help if anyone is seen to be struggling. Large modern clubhouse with entertainment for all the family. Kids entertainment starts a little late for my liking (starts 8pm). Clubhouse has 'adults only' lounge round back of bar, away from kids. Cabaret bar upstairs for adults. Good onsite shop, heated indoor pool, excellent fish & chip shop, friendly staff. The Scarborough Fair museum is excellent, with operating fairground rides, motor museum, steam traction engines, gigantic carnival organs and many, many other things to see. The guys that run the museum rides are very friendly. Ideally situated for all local seaside towns (Scarborough, Filey & Bridlington etc.). Some facilities a little bit hit and miss at the very end of the season, but still plenty to do.

We stayed at the Scarborough site, just off A64, OMG, we had the most outstanding time staying from Friday evening to Monday morning. Everything that you wanted from a caravan park.We have never stayed at a Flower of May site before, but i know we will be staying at one again sometime. The club house was ideal, down stairs for youngsters and mum and dad's and up stairs for the older end and the act's that was on were excellent. Our caravan was so very spacious as there were 6 adults in 3 bedrooms, loads of space, Big Thankyou to Scarborough's Flower of May site, the staff and all other employees a Big Thankyou to you all as you made us so welcome, never smiled as much, the old chuckle muscles had a good outing.
