From being experts in hydraulics sourcing in 1996, Flowfit is now a market leader in everything hydraulics, from distribution to systems and manufacturing. Simon Parsonage is the driving force behind a company which has come from humble beginnings. Flowfit's first office was an Old Miner's home in Cinderford, Gloucestershire, with one employee, Simon, working in the business with the support of his fellow investor, Anthony G. Cole. Within 6 months, Simon moved Flowfit's operations to a 400 square foot unit in Ludlow. By 2015, Flowfit's facilities had expanded to its current 28500 square foot site, which comprises the head office, shop and warehouse facilities and, more importantly, 28 employees.
Flowfit owes its impressive market share and continued growth to significant key aspects of the business: the highly skilled and experienced staff who put the customers first; its commitment to working with the right partners from around the globe; and through skill, innovation and addressing customer needs.
Flowfit's ethos is to provide 'everything hydraulic' for their diverse customer base. From parts and systems to bespoke designs, the dedicated and knowledgeable team at Flowfit can meet any hydraulics demand. There is a solution to every problem, and Flowfit has the answer. We would also like to introduce you to our three new apprentices who have started at Flowfit last week!
The three new apprentices are all based locally and are completing an apprenticeship/BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Manufacturing with a 2 day release at Herefordshire and Ludlow College!
Two of the apprentices, Harry Parsonage and Josh Gardener have come straight from school. Harry will be based within the sales department whilst Josh and the third apprentice James Meredith who ...is an existing employee and has been working at Flowfit for four years will be based in the engineering department!
Simon Parsonage, The Chief Executive of Flowfit said that, 'Flowfit continues to invest in the future and the next generation, we need to bridge the hydraulic industry skills gap and offer young apprentices the opportunity to have a great career without the need to attend University'

Andy Morris who has joined the Technical team as the Special Projects Manager. Andy will be responsible for the planning and Implementation of the Technical Departments Special Projects!
Andy says: 'Having worked in the hydraulic industry for 28 years, predominately in mobile hydraulics, bespoke industrial power units and cylinder manufacture, I am delighted to have joined Flowfit’s technical team as s...pecial projects manager. I feel my previous employment with companies such as Kingswood Fluid Power, Fenner Power Transmissions, Ranger Caradoc and latterly running my own business will help in growing our ever expanding engineering capabilities.'
