About Folkestone Rowing Club
Established in 1852 the Folkestone Rowing Club welcomes new members to train as Oarsmen, Oarswomen and Coxswains, as well as purely social members.
Folkestone Rowing Club Description
The Folkestone Rowing Club is always looking for new members; whether you are an experienced rower, just starting out or just like to find a new place to socialise. Rowing is a great way to keep in shape and even relax.
It is worth a visit to the club to meet the people and have a look at the facilities. The best times are on a Sunday at 10: 00 or Wednesday at 18: 00. Should you be available any other time, one of our members should be more than happy to show you around. If you would like to have a go, bring items of clothing and footwear that you don't mind getting wet with you! There's absolutely no cost to visit the club or try rowing.
The club competes in the Coast Amateur Rowing association league which takes place mainly across Kent and Sussex. However there is absolutely no pressure for any members to compete.

Fantastic weekend of regattas to start the season. With a few brand new rowers being part of crews taking home silverware, Ladies novice 2nd and Mens novice 3rd, and lots of first time races, the future looks bright for FRC!

Get a race named after your business! We have people from all over Kent and Sussex come to the ever popular Folkestone regatta on Saturday 15th June. Your business will be mentioned many times throughout the day on the tannoy, your ad will be in our race programme and outside the club.
