Food By John Lawson Description
Chef /Owner John Lawson has created Food by John Lawson Restaurant in the fishing town of Leigh-on-sea. He brings his experiences from working across the world with some of the best in the industry; including Raymond Blanc, Gordon Ramsay and Gary Jones.
The restaurant sources food and beverages from the best supplier and growers locally (the closet to the restaurant door). The produce we use is either organic or a known farm that meets the standards of good health, no sprays or pesticides used.
Our menu is driven by the season and will change on a weekly basis to reflect the produce available.
Thursday evening we generally have dinners to highlight aspects of the menu, from Vegan evenings to Japanese dinners, see our website to find out the latest events.
Friday & Saturday evenings we serve a set tasting menu, based on the local produce available, there is no menu to choose from.
Saturday lunch from 12pm we serve Fish & Chips, fresh local fish with chunky chips and pickles, made fresh in our restaurant.
Sunday lunch is a set 3 course Roast lunch, served with free-flowing organic cava.
