We are a local Chinese / Oriental restaurant which also provide a takeaway and delivery service

At the Forbidden City restaurant, we endeavour to offer a selection of ever evolving cuisines from South East Asia and the many provinces in China primarily, Beijing, Sichuan, and Guangdong.

All our dishes are prepared fresh daily from selectively sourced ingredients and if desired cooked to our customers requirements and palate. Our chefs through many years of experience have perfected various techniques to bring to the Forbidden City our own distinctive quality and taste.

We are very proud that we can provide our customers with not only, the ‘taste of China’ but also from various countries from South East Asia. On special requests or occasions, we can provide a ‘bespoke’ catering experience for those with more discerning palates for greater authenticity or for example; oriental seafood feast to remember.

Should you have any difficulty in choosing from our extensive ‘a la carte menu’ our friendly staff can would be more than happy to help. Alternatively you can try the all you can eat ‘a la carte’ buffet’ which is served in smaller quantities to enable you try more fresh and new dishes, further enhancing your dining experience with us.
