As an enthusiastic DIYer I visit this store regularly and have got to know Abdul and his team well over the years. They are always incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The brands that they stock are not the cheapest, but they are all very high quality brands, and you get what you pay for. If I have seen anything cheaper anywhere else, they are always happy to match the price. I couldn't recommend Abdul and his team more highly.

Staff ask what you need when you go in and help you find what you need. Very helpful as I only go in there occasionally to pick up parts to mend things around the house.

I recently bought a large amount of bathroom stuff from Force as they are local to me. Far from being ripped off as others seem to suggest, they price matched the cheapest online supplier. If they have a relationship with a brand then they are able to access the same prices, and pointed out when they could not. Plus they were extremely helpful in the process. I can not comment on 50p metal pegs, but I saved hundreds vs the RRP on the bathroom.

Helpful staff, good selection of stuff but OBSCENELY expensive.

Useful local hardware shop. Has a little bit of everything.

VERY expensive, in fact it is immorally over priced.
I visited for 8 metal pegs (usually a few pence each) he wanted £5! I asked why so much, the shopkeeper explained that this is Balham and people are used to being ripped off! So at least he was honest there if not in his pricing.. I got the pegs from my usual hardware shop for 50p, yep 1/10 of the force homecare price!

Be like all the builders in the area and don't allow this shop to rip you off.

+ I suspect the other reviewers are friends of the shop, or are clueless to what a decent hardware shop charges, stocks or how well informed their staff are expected to be. Force homecare ticks none of the important boxes. The helpful staff are mentioned by all of the other reviewers, but is this really to be unexpected when they are ripping you off.. ? A good conman is polite.
